Bahaha, this story made me laugh!

I really loved how you started it off as you really made me believe that this was going to be the worst wedding ever as nothing seemed to be going Petula’s way and I felt so bad for her. Speaking of her quickly, I was actually surprised by how much I missed her as I really did like her quirky shall we see character, and it was just so much to have it back here again!

Thomas was so sweet and so perfect in this story and he just seemed to know exactly what to do and how to manage a perhaps problem bride and I felt so proud of him. Petula and he really are a great match! Another thing I really loved were all the little cameos from the others ad how they kept on popping up now and then as it just made me so happy to see that the whole crowd was there, albeit not Siobhan.

The ending! ♥ That was really sweet to see that it was perfect in the end and that it all worked out for her as I just love her as a character so I was so glad that it was ok in the end.

I loved this as I knew I would! Her sisters are cows! But her family explains her so much! I love that Thomas chose to see her the night prior to the event. It was a sweet tail of love! Great Job thank you for being the amazing author you are!

Author's Response: Yeah, they really are, aren't they? ;) They do love her, they're just... cows. I do think her family is integral to her personality. She's more like her sisters and mother than she'd admit. I love writing love stories, it's my favorite thing :) Thank you so much!

I'm always down to read a good wedding fic. I thought this was a good one for Petula. Her aggravation was so funny, as well as her mother and sisters' stupid bickering and general stroppy-ness, and the random little things like her niece eating a flower from her bouquet. I loved the sense of satisfaction Petula got when she saw that the color was bleeding out from the bridesmaid dresses and shoes. This was a really fun read.

Author's Response: I love a wedding fic too. Which is funny because I don't actually like attending weddings very much. Wedding receptions yes, weddings themselves no.

Petula's family was fun to write. Since it's from her perspective, she picks out all the things that annoy her about them and glosses over the good things they do. Petula does like to focus on the dramatic potential of a situation ;)

Thank you for the review!

Were you AT my wedding, girl? Honestly, my mother did everything and drove me bananas just like this. I was missing the "stroppy cows", though. That was priceless. You have such a way of taking a mundane idea like getting ready for a wedding and making it so unique. The little details like the shoes bleeding into the snow and the chewed rose just make it spring to life, and I can feel that I'm there with your characters. They are so deep and well developed throughout your series that I feel I know them. You are a true talent, girl. I am in awe. Again. ~GW

Author's Response: You really made my day with these reviews ;) Thank you, thank you! I'm glad this one resounded with you - I actually hate large weddings like this, I had a tiny wedding and it was much better. lol

It was Petula's moment of freedom. Hattie got her moment of love and romance. I'm trying to give each character some kind of important turning point in these one-shots. Petula's is rather small, but it's very her, and I enjoyed writing it. I'm glad you liked it!

Aw, this was marvelous.

I felt so bad for Petula through the whole thing, but at least the wedding sequence ended well for her.

I can't imagine how awful it would be not to be able to plan any aspect of one's wedding. Especially when it comes to bridesmaids and such. Her mother seems like a downright troll.

I hate her stroppy cow sisters and mother, too. Honestly, if I had to live with people like that, I think that I'd simply die.

As always, I loved your characterizations. They were brilliant.

I am glad that Petula was happy in the end. Because at the beginning, I thought she might just actually run off so they'd have to reschedule the wedding.

I loved how she finally told off her bratty female fiends in her family, even if only in a small way, and how Molly and company came to help out.

Ah, this was beautiful! I liked it very much!

Your descriptions are always so full and yet they're not stifling, I also love that about your pieces. :)

As usual, impeccable grammar and spelling which is always a perk in anything. At least, in my humble opinion.

Great work!

Author's Response: Her family is very overbearing, though they do love her. Her sisters suck haha. And as much as Petula whines and overdramatizes, she does love her family as well and wouldn't dare just run away from the crazy. Although she'd be well justified, I think.

I had a lot of fun writing from inside Petula's head. Especially her thinking about aliens a lot. She's the one who got all the girls to read "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" and started Molly and Hattie worrying about pod people in Unsinkable XD

Thank you for the comment on descriptions - I always feel like that's not my strong point, so I really appreciate the compliment.

Thanks so much for the wonderful review! I love reading your reviews :)
