Not bad, not bad at all. After the last book by her supreme highness the mighty JK had published I had always wondered about where the Dursley's had gone and your explaination seemed has good as anything that JK could have written. I hope you have written more stories I would like to read them. I myself have just written the first chapter of my first story, please feel free to read and review to let me know what you think. The second chapter is awaiting validation as I write this to you.

I kinda fell in love with Dudley in DH, and this piece really captures what it is that's great about Dudley. He's not perfect, far from it, but considering his parents, he really makes strides towards being at least a little selfless. I love how you show Dudley continuing to grow up, and realise that his parents aren't always right, or good examples to follow.

Just a little thing to help the cause, but as well as being the least he could do, it was also the most he could do, and it's a nice story of how yet another seemingly irrelevant character does their part. Helps us to see how many people were involved in the final battle, which is so easily seen in canon as being all down to Harry.

That's just how far I think Dudley would go. We see at the beginning of DH how Dudley has thought about things and he has a little change for the better. I would expect that a long time living with wizards would make him more ready to accept them in some way too, and like you show it here, he would probably accept them in some way but not really like magic anyway. You portray that and Dudley and the Dursleys in general very well. A great story from you once again!
