Now this was an interesting chapter seeing the battle through the eyes of one of the fallen.

I've read several Fred-dying stories, but not one that tells the battle from his perspective after he died. Very original and I loved his thoughts about his family and how they shouldn't grieve him. That was very in character. As was his comment about the map. LOL!

This was a really interesting take on Fred's death. I thought I'd seen them all by now but not one like this - really unique and imaginative. I liked how he worked out pretty quickly what was happening and how he found those most important to him in the afterlife so he could watch the world of the living in company. His mother's fervour against Bellatrix was indeed such that she had to know about Fred's fate (as indeed we know Bella did) but it was nice to have him recognise that and want to comfort her that everyone else was still okay. Very heartwarming!

I liked the storytelling aspect of this, and I think that you captured Fred's character well. (Though it would have been funny to see him make some silly comment when he realized that Snape was up there with him. :P) I like how he noticed Kreacher fighting for the Order and appreciated it, I feel that that's a very Fred thing to do. I also liked how he felt the need to shout at everyone crying over him and how he's not feeling sorry for himself, because I don't think he would.

Overall, this was a cute piece that was definitely "Fred". I enjoyed it! :)

I really enjoyed reading this story. Fred's death is always very sad, but you wrote it in a very matter-of-fact tone that made your story a bit different to others. I like the first paragraph, and the whole story! The characterisation of Fred is good, although I think it could've been just a bit better. I don't believe he would've thought, "There was no way Harry could win." That's not Fred at all. I love the end though - "I will have to ask them about that map." Great! A well written story that was an interesting read!

There were some spelling errors and such throughout this, but I don't think it was so much that it was distracting or anything. I liked the way you told it from Fred's point of view. It was a different perspective that I haven't seen quite yet and I can definitely appreciate the creativity with that. So all in all, a few typos, but well done.
