I found this to be a really interesting chapter about Rodolphus after he sees that his wife is dead. Its rather interesting to take this route with a war piece and I really enjoyed reading this from when the war is pretty much over rather then from the beginning of the war. I really liked how you went over that at one point in time he actually enjoyed stuff but now he has only a cold heart. Great Job.

Well, that was an interesting take on the battle! I never thought much about Rodolphus Lestrange, which I suppose many in Potterdom are guilty of, but I think you captured him really well here. The former love for Bellatrix and now the almost disdain for what she has become were very fitting - I wonder, was he jealous of Voldemort for the attention his wife paid him? - and I liked the bit with his brother at the end there. All in all a most intriguing piece and an unusual take on the battle - well done!

That was almost chilling to read! It was astounding to see just how cold and heartless someone like Rudolphus could be... you really got through to his emotions perfectly in this and I almost felt like I wanted him to feel something, but it was nice that he didn't. Not nice as in it was a good thing, but more that I think you absolutely nailed his character in this. Brilliant.

I simply adore Rodolphus Lestrange and I also adore this fic about him. The way you described his perpetually emotionless state of being was fantastic. The detail was magnificently done and it kept me captivated throughout the story. I always like to see people's perspectives on Rodolphus because he can be interpreted so many different ways, and this was a way I had yet to experience, so I'm glad i read it.

Well done.

Not many people have written about the minor Death Eaters, and I'm glad you did. Rodolphus was an interesting person to choose because he has so many connections to the other DEs, yet we rarely hear much about him. The idea that he became a cold, dead husk because of Azkaban and Bellatrix is so brilliant. I love he way you portray his desperation at his lack of emotions. It makes he such a pathetic character. I love angst!
