a beacon in the darkness gone Beautiful! I love what Padma says to her sister, too, about sobbing the horrors of the world. You've got some great descriptive writing in here.

Oh my God, I love the scene of Padma saving her sister! I was so upset thinking she was dead, and bam! You did a great job with this chapter, I really enjoyed reading it.

I really liked this ... till the last two paragraphs. It feels like you gave up on the story and detail just to get it finished. Before that, it was great! The dynamic between the sisters was fantastic and I liked how you juxtaposed the patil twins with the weasley twins

Aw, that was so sweet. It was action packed and heartwrenching at times, but I really love how Padma gathers all of the power she can muster and saves her sister.

I like the realism that Padma has in the beginning--it honestly is the most likely outcome, and it's nice to see that she realizes it when so many other battling and war stories have nothing but total optimism in them.

I think that you characterized Padma, Parvati, and Ron perfectly--especially Ron, with his behavior after Fred's death--this could have come right out of DH, it's completely a missing moment. I liked it, good job! :D

It is nice to know that there are another set of twins who share a deep bond at Hogwarts that were affected by the Final Battle.

You really showed the differences in both Padma and Parvati and it was interesting to see why the two girls were in different houses. That part where Padma refused to believe that Parvati was really touching. And it almost drew a comparision between Fred and George, you know? Fred didn't make it but Parvati did. I like that. It showed that not all is lost in a horrible war like this one.

A really nice piece about two characters (particularly Padma) that are largely ignored in fanfiction. Well done!
