Wow, this was very interesting
Firstly, characterization was good. There was an equal balance of persoanlities in there, i particularly enjoyed the way you wrote Hannah. Usuall she's a normal Hufflepuff girl who doesn't get any of the spot light, it was so interesting to read something directed from her point of view.
The plot was very easy and simple to follow, quite an upsetting atmosphere really yet i still loved it. Grammar, Spelling and punctuation was perfect, your desriptive writing was very good and i really enjoyed this chapter overall.
10/10

Awww, this was such a lovely chapter!

I loved the part with Hannah remembering her mother and the motive of a locket as a family heirloom that has been passed through the generations of their family. The flashback you've included - Hannah watching her mother getting ready for a formal dinner, Hannah finally receiving the locket for her birthday, Hannah receiving the news of her mother's death, Hannah's wedding day; they were all so wonderfully placed to go with the flow of the chapter. The ending was absolutely wonderful and the choice of a defining moment for Hannah, the moment she passed on the family heirloom to her daughter and the wonderful thought of her mother living on in her memories and in her heart.

Wonderful story. Great job!!

I don't know if I cried the first time reading this, but I certainly did this time. It's such a touching story, and I just love it when you write Hannah. I love how you went back and showed memories of how Hannah got the locket and then her as she prepared to give it to her own daughter. You really showed a lot of Hannah's personality and created her character here, which I loved. I loved that they had this tradition of the locket in the family.. it was such a touching story.

Taryn, this was such a lovely story. I absolutely love the idea of having the locket tie all of the stories together - from Hannah's childhood to her sixteenth birthday, to her mother's death and eventually the passing of the heirloom to Hannah's own daughter. They're all strong women and the locket is just that - strength and love passed down from generation to generation. I especially loved Hannah's birthday scene because she really became a woman then, receiving the locket and the responsibility that came with it from her mother. I also really liked the scene before the wedding with her father. This was a wonderful, heart-warming story and I enjoyed it so much. 10/10

I'm bawling my eyes out! That was just so beautiful and so amazing. The emotion you put into it is just beyond words. The scene in where she told Susan, and the one where she said take this to my girl, just had me bawling like a baby. This is so beautifully written, I adore it!

The emotion in this chapter is written so vividly. The scene in Dumbledore's office where she is informed of her mother's death is just gripping. I loved the idea of an heirloom being passed down. The letter she writes to her daughter is so lovely. When she tells the owl to 'take this to our girl', I just cried. Beautiful.
