What a great update!! Seriously, this chapter was terrific!

I loved Remus' over-protectiveness towards Kerri. A sure sign than they can't possibly be "just friends" anymore. Although I think he would have reacted the same even if it weren't for the kiss... :)

also, the description of Royal's family was very touching. It really made a good social profile of the werewolf commune... Do all of his kids' names start with M? Cute... :)

Oh, the MacNair brothers... This should be interesting...

A really good chapter!

Author's Response: No, Remus and Kerri can try all they want, but no characters escape me once I decide to put them together. I've been working on the sequel....they're so nauseatingly cute sometimes....

Yes, all of those kids have "M" names -- which has been a real pain for me. I have a horrible time keeping them straight and I'm only now starting to think that I have it.

Yes, this will be the start of a years long feud with the MacNairs. It starts out as dislike and tension but I think that by the time MacNair chases Kerri's students around the Ministry of Magic in the fifth year, Kerri will pretty much have had it with playing nice.

Oh poor Kerri, poor Remus... they're both so hopeless. I can understand their reasons for not wanting to get into relationships though... still, they should just get together! They both like each other, why not?

And Fuzzy Wuzzy is one of the most ridiculous and hilarious cat names I've ever heard. Especially when its owner is a character like Royal. XD

Author's Response: That's what Tonks will try to tell Kerri a couple times over the next month or so. She should just go for it.

My sister had a name for her cat that was worse than Fuzzy Wuzzy. It had a habit of peeing in the house so it ended up stuck with the name "Pee-cat" .

Wow... Remus is acting like Severus, all protective and stuff... it's so cute!!
Favorite line in chapter: "One of the mice had babies on my pillow." I literally laughed out loud reading that!!
Poor Fuzzy Wuzzy... I hope she's alright. And it was great of you to put in Royal and Celestia's kids in the chapter. They were so cute!
That "confrontation" with Greyback sounds intense... put the next chaper up IMMEDIATLY!

Author's Response: Remus's protectiveness will come in handy later when Lockhart becomes a problem. Lockhart is just too much fun not to play with some more.

There will be more of Royal and Celestia and their children in the future.

The next chapter should be going up on Thursday.

I think you have made Remus' and Kerri's reaction really realistic. I can imagine him being overprotective. I'm glad she was honest as to how she felt though, although despite that they haven't progress much as their romance goes but in time, I'm sure...

The little sub-plot with the poisoned cat was really sweet and sad.

I feel a bit sorry for Snape too. He just can't find happiness, can he?

Next chapter sounds as if it's going to have a lot of action in it.

Can't wait.

Author's Response: Oh yes, the'll spend a month or two running as hard as they can in opposite directions until...Lockhart of all people...push them back together. Let's just say that Remus's protectiveness comes into play.

The part with the poisoned cat is setting up a several year long feud between Kerri and the MacNairs. It occured to me that she would really hate Walden MacNair since she's such an animal lover..and of course he's the one assigned to execute Buckbeak in the third year.
