Great scene with the band. I like the dianamic with Tonks mixed in, too.

Remus is back in the picture, whoopie! She doesn't need to hide her feelings. I do hope he goes in on her suggestions, about the wolfsbane potion too, it would probably save him so much money! He's too nice, he deserves better and he should tell her he loves her already. Ehehe, practical joke, love it. I don't like how he's treating Remus and Kerri though, she's a nice person. Just because she's not a werewolf doesn't mean she's not worth being there, if anything she's more worth than him because she can put such matters aside. It's horrible what they did to the little girl, poor thing. They finally can get their wands, eh! Lovely. I'm sure that's going to be fun.

Author's Response: Yes...the Diagon Alley chapter is one of my favorites.

Royal and Celestia and their children are somwhat minor now, but they will be major characters as the story goes.

I can't believe I was so behind again but I have now caught up!

Your Ministry is as bad or worse than mine actually. I'm very glad they have now got the wands. The next chapter sounds like it's going to be fun.

Well done again!

Author's Response: I love the next chapter, but it's going to be a long one. I might end up having to split it. I'm going to try to get it up tonight, but I haven't even proof-read yet. I'm not only behind on other people's stories, I'm behind on my own !

This will be short. I love your werewolves (almost all of them, and certainly all the guys in the band). I had no idea Remus sucked at potions -- I figured he got good grades in everything but was not advanced enought to master such a complicated potion. I thought your slice of life in the commune was ingenious.

Author's Response: Remus being bad at potions is canon....he mentions it in the third book in the scene where Harry has been left behind while Ron and Hermione go to Hogsmeade and Remus invites him into his office for a chat. "I was never much of a potion brewer" he admits. Remus, being my favorite character, I have a knack for remembering little details like that and making use of them in my stories.

Thank you for the review.

Yay! Tonks is so cool! I can't wait to see how the boys will repay Kerri one day--maybe fight Voldy or get Greayback? And you MUST let them totally humiliate Yestin! He's so horrible!

Author's Response: You're the first person to figure out that I'm grooming the boys to help fight Voldemort. Most people are only just starting to realize that they aren't minor characters !

Oh, I loved this chapter very much. Kerri's inner struggle was very interesting to read!

Also, I'm starting to get interested in Yestin and his grudge towards Remus. Is it just because he had moved from the commune or is there something more to it? And what about Tonks? Is there a more important role for her in further chapters?

Once again, I have to mention how much I admire your way to describe the background events, introduce many different things that make the story more livid, like the part with Royal and what the ministry did. It also portrays the life of a group of people shunned by society and introduces another important theme aside from the obvious, love theme. I gives a lot of depth to the story and it is obvious everything is very well planned.
Very well done!!

Author's Response: I'm ashamed to admit it but I'm not 100% sure yet where I'm going with Yestin. I'm not sure if he's just a jerk or if he's truly evil. On the surface he dislikes Remus because he knows Remus has tried to pass himself off as a normal person....beyond that...I'll just have to see how his character develops with time.

Tonks is Kerri's best friend and she'll be important throughout this story and all the sequels. I even have a husband picked out for her -- Teddy's father --- although Teddy obviously won't have the last name "Lupin" in my version.

Royal and Celestia are important characters too whose importance will grow with time. Unlike Yestin, I know exactly where I want to go with them.

Thanks so much for your review.

WOW that was a quick update... and a fantastic chapter too!

Author's Response: Thank you.

Actually, I've been very lazy this week. The last chapter was late in being updated and I hurried to get the second one up on schedule. Generally I try to post on Mondays and Fridays.
