How bittersweet. I like the idea that she didn't notice Ron until she found out she'd be going to the ball with him, since we certainly know that Harry doesn't know everyone in his year - he keeps on meeting new people, doesn't he? I found it very cute that she looked at his horrible robes, and instead of seeing lace, she saw that he had tried to dress himself up and look traditional; it's very like someone who thinks they're in love to only see the best in a situation. I liked the line about Padma being the fangirl instead of the heroine - I think that must be how a lot of people feel.

I would never have thought of Padma's reluctance and displeasure as merely a facade...what an interesting insight..and how silly of me! Who could NOT be in love with Ron! I am pretty sure I have reviewed all your stories thus far as excellent, but really, I can't think of much more to say! Excellent Work! :OD ~ andy x x x

Author's Response: Thank you! So many teenagers today pretend to be something that they are not, and I loved showing someone doing that. And who could NOT love Ron, you are right! Thanks so much!
