This was so touching. Very sad, unbearably so. It's something that could make a person cry. Beautifully written.

The ending dragged on a bit, but the last line made up for that. I sort of like that the Ministry got rid of him for doing something good; I always thought it'd be funny if they got mad at Harry for killing LV, but it wasn't so funny in this case. The part about the mirrors was well-thought out, and though at first I thought it was because he just didn't like looking at the spots (that would've been ... weird), I really like that you came back to that idea at the end.

This story is so awe-inspiring. I have to say that the first time I read it, I was so confused by the mirror scene in the beginning, but it's amazing at how well it ties to the ending. Perfect flow. I loved the symbolisism and all the details you put into it. A GREAT story. 10/10!! ~Jessi

Author's Response: Thank you! I am glad that you enjoyed the tie-in with the mirrors from the beginning to the end. Thanks for the compliment on flow and details, but this wouldn't even be a story without your wonderful beta-ing! Thanks so much!

The intensity of emotions Apollyon must have been feeling as he caught even the slightest glimpse of his face in the mirror. Such a heartbreaking tale of shattered love too - to be hurt that way by woman he loved just because he had been scarred. - Jenn

Author's Response: Thanks, Jenn! I am glad that you enjoyed the character of the woman he loved. Some people just do not have a heart, and I so loved portraying that! So glad you enjoyed it! Thanks!

That paragraph with the mirrors made me want to cry. I have said this about so many of the fics so far, but I really don't know enough words to express myself. Just..wow. this fic was so forlorn, so heart-wrenchingly beautiful. Amazing job! 10/10! ~ andy x x

Author's Response: Thanks, andy! I am so happy that I wrenched the right emotions in you! I wasn't aiming to make anyone cry, but if I made you want to cry, then I know that I did a good job of portraying my character's emotions. Thanks!
