Oh oh oh, I'm actually in pain. God it was awful. Not your story but the events. Oh god, this was so perfect and so good and so SAD. Lily saying I love you and James remembering the joy and Sirius knowing he'd betrayed Remus as well. It's just terrible, but brilliant, glorious and wonderful. Well done.

Oh James's jacket with the prefect badge. I just love that image, and Remus caring even though he's so broken. I've said it before, but I really love how seamlessly the story flows from present to past, without it seeming out of place or wrong.

The best bit was how Sirius and Remus pushed Peter away without even really realising it, because it was just so ordinary a thing to do. I hate him, but I do like stories that make Peter a real person, rather than just ignoring him altogether, its much more effective.

I really love this bit! 'the lower shelves bulged with badly stacked parchments and books facing the wrong way, as if he had started out with an intention to be neat and then just thought, oh bugger it, and stuffed things in any old way.' Other than that, this is really good, I love the reaction to the picture of Peter, and Remus is so Remus, perfect characterisation. I've decided to review every chapter, not something I usually do but I really LOVE this. It's so tightly wound and emotional, brilliant.
