Kudos on a good story. I had to re-read Lineage since I was away from the internet for a long time it was just as good as the first time i read it.
On to this story Im just getting aquainted with it but I love it already I also believe it might have been an old family member that stole Isabella I believe I never read anything about anyone getting caught in the murders of both Ellie and her mother not that the story got so far as that but still lol

I was on the edge of my imaginary seat the whole time, holding my breath in anticipation of what was to come and hoping I was going to love it and did I ever.
Liam Denters was dishy as ever and so was Oliver and the heat was still there between Jane and Oliver I can feel the tension of things left unsaid between them because things ended bad and oh dear
I just loved it, especially this part where she burns Bridget
"Too bad you’re a no-name then. Famous by mummy and daddy. It’s a shame. You have my sympathies.” LOVED THAT
and her meeting her idol and shes just that much closer to her dream career and Oliver noticing and things were so civil between them that it gave me hope
he gave her his umbrella and the red wine!
its really refreshing to read this after being scared out of my wits with this movie i saw yesterday lol

Author's Response: I'm so glad you loved it! "Things unsaid" is pretty much the best way to describe Jane and Oliver at the moment. There is so much unsaid between them. I didn't want Jane to go too horrible on Bridget, but sometimes she just can't help herself. She can get quite the attitude. Sorry to hear about the movie--should I make the story scarier? haha yeah right, I can't write horror to save my life.

I like my updates frequent but within reason so whenever you have the chance i think once a week should be fine though
at the moment you're the author that updates fastest from all the stories Im reading on here.
Congrats on get TA status its good to read that because you dont have to wait ages in the queue and we the readers always rejoice at that

Poor Laura so shaken up over just Sirius's presence and so tense too so i wonder if shes going to avoid him for a bit in hopes of not becoming a mini Elvira and if they're gonna have those conversational moments that are so endearing to me
also I loved that she wore shorts! I prefer shorts over skirts nobody wants their chones showing lol
and I'm getting this vibe off Sirius that maybe just maybe he might like Laura back just an inkling in the back of my thoughts

again it was fantastic and devastating
I suspected it would have happened but still her mom died
She blacked out from the news and I get it. Is it bad that that was probably my favorite part of the chapter? I think its because she is always so in control of herself and it was too much. Its shocking when you receive news like that even when in the back of your mind its expected and you do lose control
anyways it is so Ellie that she will distance herself to protect her siblings now especially after losing her aunt and mother and her father in jail
im anxious as to what will happen and peoples reactions when she returns to school I imagine Remus will be more protective everyone will
anyways it was magnificent i loved it

I thought about what her reaction would be like for a little while and it just seemed appropriate for it to be a black out for the exact reasons you stated. And it also made more sense for her to try and distance herself to keep them safe, but also (in the back of her mind) Ellie is worried that if she goes into hiding with them and has nothing to do, then she'll end up a complete emotional wreck like her mother was when her father was arrested.

And I'm hoping that people will enjoy the different reactions that she gets when she arrives back at Hogwarts. I know I am. :)
