Review #1, by HomeAtHogwartsLess Than: Less Than

12th July 2017:
Hi, I was also recently diagnosed with PCOS (I'm assuming that's what's being referenced, although it's likely applicable to other diagnosis of low fertility). I think the feelings expressed in this piece a very important valid ones to acknowledge but I'm also reassured by the response you had Neville give. In a sense I know I am lucky as I think I have a mild form and am not currently at the point of trying to have a baby but knowing that I may not be able to is quite difficult to adjust to. I'm sure you've ben told this by many people but adoption/fostering are both meaningful alternatives and don't be afraid to try hormones etc (if it is PCOS). I have a number of cousins who are adopted and if it is a loving home they come into then it doesn't make a difference (obviously the pregnancy experience is missed as you had Hannah mention). Anyway it's important to talk about infertility, particularly among young otherwise healthy women as it's not something may people are aware of, so thank you! On another note, I enjoyed your writing style. Remember you are not less than, just different!

Review #2, by HomeAtHogwartsA Place Not Far From Here: Exchanges of Words

8th May 2017:
I'm really enjoying this, it's one of the few joys I have during exams! I like the contrast between past Amelia and present and am really curious to see how she ended up where she is now. I think it's good how you've left it so present Amelia is still trying to work things out. The characters seem very filled out (in a good way) also your grammar and writing tone makes for pleasant reading-Congrats!

Author's Response: Thanks for a great review, HomeAtHogwarts!

It brings a smile to my face knowing that my story gives you some happiness during your exams!

The interwoven past and present stories is such a thrilling challenge to write! I'm happy to hear that you think I'm doing this stylistic choice some justice.

Best of luck on your exams! :)

Review #3, by HomeAtHogwartsThe Keeper's Daughter: Stressed Out

24th October 2015:
Really enjoying this so far, especially now Matteo's out the way! Am looking forward to Aurelia and Gee's talk, I hope we'll get to see more of what Aurelia's thought process is. Also poor Margo, it's just not going to go well for her is it?! Love seeing Oliver and Jane the same as ever and their close relationship with Gee (I know it's not too present in this chapter but I'm not the best with individual chapter reviews).

Review #4, by HomeAtHogwartsThe Sacred Twenty-Eight Club: The Benstrument

17th October 2015:
Well, your AN certainly worked on me this time! I'm really enjoying this so far, Carina feels like a real person and it seems like you have enough plots set up to keep things interesting. Levi and lily won't work I reckon because he's too young to stand up to his family atm. Please don't stop writing!

Author's Response: I'm glad my AN encouraged you to review, and I hope you continue to review any story that you enjoy on here!
I've definitely put a lot into this story, so I'm excited that you're enjoying it! There will definitely be things about Levi and Lily in future chapters, so we'll just have to see if you're right.
Thank you so much for reviewing!

Review #5, by HomeAtHogwartsHow to tame a Marauder: Retribution

26th April 2014:
Hi, I'm rereading this story and just caught the heart-breaking phrase from Laura to Mary (about Bea)"I swear she'll be the death of me." :'(

I really love your story and style of writing, you're to blame for at least a days worth of procrastination from exams! I agree that you had to end the story like that, but am so glad that you published those 'behind the scenes' chapters.

There was one thing that caught my mind (this is the wrong place and a few years too late to point it out) but when Sirius and Laura are in the forest you mentioned they were surrounded by crocuses but it was after Easter break. Even in Scotland (where I live) the crocuses are gone by then, daffodils or early bluebells you could get away with though.
Thank you so much (although if I fail my exams, I know who to blame...)

Author's Response: Yeah, I love that line too. Sorry!! *smiles wickedly*

And I'm very sorry I took you from your exam revision - I hope you passed!

Thanks for the comment about crocuses - I'll have to edit that. I think I thought it would be okay because (and memory is a little hazy here) in the original books they were out at about that time, but if you live there you certainly know what's flowering and what's not. Thanks for the tip!

cheers Mel

Review #6, by HomeAtHogwartsDelicate: Call Me Mum

10th May 2013:
I know you've probably got loads of raving reviews over the years but this truely is one of the best fanfictions I've read. I don't think I've laughed out loud so much at a story before and you still managed to tackle serious issues! (It's also been a good instrument of procrastination against revision for exams- I'm sure I'm not the first :D) So just congratulations I suppose!
P.S Thank you so much for writing a sequel, I really just can't get enough of HPverse

Review #7, by HomeAtHogwartsThe Properties of a Rose: Part Twenty Seven

6th July 2012:
I'd just like to say how much I'm enjoying your beautiful take on Rose/Scorpius' relationship. You seem to be constantly amazed that new readers are appearing this far on but I confess I prefer jumping in when stories are half writen- I don't have the agony of waiting as much!
I love a dark green on redheads (previous question i know but I can't think of an anwer to the current one)

Author's Response: Thank you so very much for this wonderful review!

I am really amazed at how many people jump in--I guess I am like you, I read stories that are already up and going, too--but I expect others to feel bogged down by such a long fic. I'm so glad you (and others) have read it despite the many chapters!

Thanks for the feedback, and please check back when I post the next chapter--I'd love to hear from you again!
