Awww, they still love each other, don't they? Whether they realise it or not. I enjoyed the flashback. There were a few sentences in it that didn't quite flow but I think you created a really nice picture of wizarding Vegas; it was a nice backdrop to James and Amelia's happier times. One question though: how old are they?

Lovely chapter! I find myself feeling a bit bad for James. I really want to know what he did to mess things up- I could be wrong, but the way Amelia's acting makes me think its his fault.

I like how you write dialogue, its very believable. My only criticism is that there hasn't been much description of Amelia- I'm dying to know what she looks like!

Oh wow thank you so much, oh I haven't included that? oh fiddlesticks, I shall have to go back and put that in, she's about 5 foot 7, slim build and has longish (past her shoulders) brown hair and eyes.

You know, I never read NextGen fics, and clicked on this one on a whim. I'm happy to say that I am pleasantly surprised :) Amelia makes a great first impression; I find myself drawn to her despite not knowing much about her or her marriage.

Wonderful opening chapter, and I will definitely be continuing on.
