Dear HPL,
I am really enjoying your tale so far. I'm also very impressed with both the quality of the writing as well as the plot. Well done! Keep writing, won't you?

Author's Response: Thank you so much :) I've taken a fairly long hiatus from writing, it's been over half a year since I wrote anything of real quality, but I'll work on something soon :)

Wow, your first fanfic? Well done! Can't offer much in the way of constructive criticism but I thought it was good. Certainly wouldn't have guessed that it was a first attempt :) Congratulations!

Author's Response: Thank you so much!! I'm glad you thought it was good because I did doubt it a bit but thanks again! :)

Review #5, by TaraielOut of Your Depth: CHAPTER 24

8th April 2012:
I'm really enjoying your story, so thank you for writing it. I really appreciate how you find a characters motivation. You look at their life experience, and base their reactions/motives/etc on that. Far too few people in this world have that skill I'm afraid (in day to day life too I mean).
I also like that they have integrity and strength of character.
Well done.
Ps. I hope you're not one of these Joss Whedon types (of whom I am a big fan), but having a quick look at your comments on other reviews, I suspect you might be...

Author's Response: Awh, thank you so much - and you're more than welcome! I love doing this, and the praise from other people is just an - albeit heart-warming - bonus!

Thank you. :) I do agree with that, I have to admit - I read a lot of things where the character's actions completely contradict how their past should have affected them. I want these people to be formed from the events of their life, and not just because that's "how they are".

Their past gives them depth, and I don't want to cover up the bad parts or the things that make the characters seem unsympathetic, and I didn't want the UNsympathetic characters to be totally horrid either - that's not how real people are. [Though how much of this story is real is up for debate. ;D ]

Erm, you'll have to forgive me, here. Joss Whedon types? I'm very sorry but I have no clue what that means. Hahaha.

Oh, wait, I just wiki'd the guy and I *think* I may know what you mean. If I'm right, then my lips are sealed on that point - what sort of writer would I be if I gave away the end game? ;D (Btw - that's not a yes, and it's not a no. Don't get ideas into your head, T. :P)

Thank you so much for your review - it is wonderfully appreciated.

8th April 2012:
Great story! Keep it coming! I've really been enjoying the quirkyness. Albus for sure! Can't have James with Ally but in love with someone else.
Do you want any help with spelling/punctuation/etc?
P.s. This is the first review I've left, so hope that's what you're supposed to say :)

Author's Response: Thanks for the lovely review! :}
Well I feel special being your first review XD I'm glad you like the story! :} & the next chapter is already in the queue!
Your the first one to mention that about James actually ;} Kudos on you!
And YES! I've been looking for a beta but noone has taken on the request yet! D: I know I'm terrible at grammar stuff :}
