Author's Response: Hmm. I see where you're coming from, but I think I'd be pretty much where Rose is right now. She doesn't know how he feels about her. He's been completely dishonest without ever saying things to her... and he's been kissing her while he's seeing another girl. I think Rose can also sympathize with this other girl who has no idea she exists. Now she can wonder, what else is he lying about?

So I do get that it's so easy looking in on a couple and knowing they should be together and wanting it to work out, but if I was in Rose's shoes he would have been punched. Multiple times.

This was another excellent chapter. I loved seeing these different sides to Scorpius (his 'typical boy' side when he was checking Rose out, his aspirations, etc). I also love his and Rose's back-and-forth, too. It's so natural. Not to mention cute.

Wow I'm really curious as to what this project is! At first I thought it was going to be a Triwizard Tournament or something like that but now I'm not too sure. All this stuff about 'intelligence' and 'cleverness' makes me think twice as to what this project may actually be.

You introduced your characters thus far very well. Each explanation was short, but thorough and to the point! So good job on that.

Oh my god, everything's such a mess! I feel so bad for Addie :( This was such a hard chapter to read. It was just so sad and depressing. I did enjoy it though. Very well written, as usual. You did an amazing job at translating all her feelings into words and making the reader feel her pain. . . . . Or maybe I'm just really empathetic. Either way, I feel terrible for Addie!

Can't wait to see what happens next. Keep up the fantastic work.

I love Al! You portray him so well! I find that female authors tend to make male narrators sound/act very feminine, but you're doing excellent. Albus' actions and thoughts seem believable and very masculine. So, a job well done to you!

I also like the relationship between James and Al, in this chapter especially. I think you depicted their brotherly relationship perfectly.

Lucy's a total sweetheart as well and I really like her independence! I thought for sure that she was going to be invited to a Wotter holiday party, or that Al was going to bump into her in Diagon Ally since it was mentioned that she was staying with Alice who lives in/near Diagon Ally. Alas, none of that happened, but I mustn't get my hopes up. Al's gotta see her atleast once over the break to give her his gift... right?!

I just started reading this story today and I'm already done reading all the chapters here. I love it and I will definitely be following it closely. Keep up the amazing work! Hope to see an update soon :)

Your story is so good! Not only is it well put together and the perfect length, but it is also really descriptive and funny! I think the whole James scene near the end was adorable, and I personally am shipping Evie and James! WOOo! I'm not even hesitating about that ship!
