I really loved this. It was really raw, bare emotion, like an open wound. Well done, i loved the ending as well, very dramatic. Only thing is in one-shots i love using short 'one-liners' but just be sure not to over use them because sometimes it can make reading a little harder. But great job, really likes this. Ohh and i loved the title, i thoughthat was quite inspired :)

Author's Response: thank you for your review! I do admit sometimes to use to many one liners. I wrote this fanfic very quickly, and it kind of just flowed so i left it. It means a lot to me, this story, as it was based on a loss in my family.

Now I'm sorry that this review is epically over due. But I have my reasons, I have been, for about the past month, hiding under mountains of paper that I liked to call my revision. May I just say, that my file is the cutest thing anyone will every see. It's a Winnie the Poo one, with Tiger, and Eeyore. I think thats enough said, I hope you gather how cute this thing is. But anyway, I really do apologise prefucially (sorry I cannot spell) for the lateness of this review. But here it is, so, lets not dwell on the past and carry forth with the ramblings in my brain that I am about to make known to you.

YES! Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, they are FINALLY together. You know when you've been watching a series in the T.V (say The West Wing, or Downtown Abbey [both creations of genius]) and there are that couple, that never ever get together. And really makes you want to scream at the T.V (or in my case actually scream at the TV). And then, after what seems like a lifetime, they finally, after everything, get together. And all you can do is sit there with your mouth hanging open like a moron, and then... "YESS! FINALLY!"... You know what I mean? Well, the moment that Penny and Freddie got together in this chapter was one of those moments for me. I may have squealed and little bit and my dog may have got a bit of a fright, but you know, the devil is in the detail. So they are FINALLY together. Thank every deity there is out there. Ahh I love them, and more specifically Freddie. I love them with all my heart. But I genuinely wanted to punch Kane when he was talking to Penny. God! I hate him. In my head his is the polaroid opposite of Freddie, that is how much I hate him and love Freddie.

I'm sorry, but lets be honest here, James loves Summer and Summer loves James, it's as plain as the noses on their faces. Seriously. Great, just to get that cleared up.

I loved more of James point of view, you write it really well, it good to know how both of them are feeling not just Summer, so we can get the whole picture.

Honesty is coming your way again, I'm sorry. I am so annoyed with both Summer and James. They are both being annoying and they both need to get of their little high horse and just normal again. Humphh. As far as I am concerned, they are both being as bad as each other. I know that Summer started it, but they are both being immature and hormonal, that is why I am firmly on team freddie, because they are both annoying me. No matter how in love I am with James.

Aw Dom and Conner, they are almost as cute as my revision file. And thats saying something.

Jack. Ahhh Jack. I love Jack. I know a lot of people hate him. But really I love him. And I'm really confused about how he and Summer feel towards each other. Well really, how summer feels towards him. I know Jack likes her, but how does she feel? I am very confused. Anyways, I love him. And TEAM FREDDIE.

Trololololololololol. At the end '"I - I - Connor and Dom had sex the other week!” I shrieked, before leaping off the desk, shoving him backwards into a chair and pounding off down the corridor, hunting down the dark blonde bastard that had locked me in the classroom in the first place.' Sooo funny. Ahh, you never fail to make me laugh, even in revision time, which may i say is a great achievement. Well done. But exams are OVER NOW, and I can have a life again WOOHOOO!

Soo looking forward to the next chapter!! Woohooo! 'next stop: james+summer, albus+natalie, fred+penny, connor+dom and jack are in hogsmeade.' Should be fun! {waggles eyebrows}.

i know exactly what you mean! that one couple and you're just like "GET TOGETHER ALREADY, YOU STUPID IDIOTS!" but they never seem to. i was like that with CSI, with sara and grissom, and i nearly passed out when they finally revealed they were dating. and when they said they had gotten married... oh, don't even get me started. aww, you have a dog? i like dogs. they're cute and fluffy and chase twigs for no reason. i hope your dog is alright after your squealing attack. kane is just a horrible person ~ he was raised to believe he could have everything, and penny paid the price for that. but fred's sorted him out, don't worry.

well, thank you for clearing that up for me. i'll be sure to add that into the next chapter now you've told me so :P

yeah, a lot of people are annoyed with summer right now, and a lot of people are annoyed with james ~ so i wanted to show how both of them were actually feeling about everything. thank merlin for duel POV.

james and summer are both being really stupid right now. they both have so much pride that they refuse to swallow, and they both know they've been wrong, but neither want to admit it and they both want to think that it's more the other persons fault. stupid, the pair of them. yes, that's why i chose team freddie too. because he's nice. and not hating their love (yes, love) for no reason.

dom and connor like sugar, delicious but sickly.

i love jack too! thank the lord i'm not the only one! i just think he's really sweet. jack has a big crush on her, and wants to get to know her better. how summer feels about him is all in the next chapter. but basically ~ he makes her feel calm, safe & happy. in all honesty, james never made her feel calm or safe. and that's why he is her rebound.

i'm telling you now, i don't feel like laughing when i'm revising. i feel like hunting down whoever invented exams and... well, i'm sure you can guess.

Oh. My. God. Are trying to kill us all? I really hate you right now.

No! Don't worry I'm only joking, but I was annoyed with summer, in fact I am very annoyed with summer, and the fact that you updated while I was away and I had to wait a week until I could read it. My other 2 friends who read this story were able to read it while we were away and they kept talking about how good it was and it was eating me up inside.

But no. No more summer and James. This is awful. Terrible. Catastrophic, disastrous, horrif- okay I'm going to stop now. But yeahh, you get my drift. Im so upset. Will they every be friends again. I mean at the end of the story they have to get together right (she says desperately, pondering the fact that her ability to keep her sanity probably depends on the answer).

Pffft. It was so intense. But I thought you wrote it really really well. Those kind of chapters are hard to write.

what did you meant that they would not have bothered to 'change' anything I thought they were perfectly nice the way they were. i mean i loved summer, now, not so much. and i hate al. which is weird because in most stories i love him, so I'm finding this weird right now...

...And there is no more summer and James so I'm also find that weird and all the other adjectives I used to describe it earlier.

Anyway I'm gonna stop ranting now.

Love love love this story, it is so so funny! I just love it, and you write flora really well. Just gonna say, I'm a Albus/Flora shipper, if that helps, but I don't like how he s acting all awkward at the party. Boo Al. But yeahh. I like Scorpius too, but he seems to have a few little issues, like with his father, and Al, and jealousy and life. But yeah. Okay not gonna lie I love Flora and I am a little bit like her, kind of a maga closet dork (he he), and her passion for food is shared, and old nerdy bands that really only you're parents should listen too, but really I love Willoughby, he is my fav character (... Cat? I don't know do you count him as a charter or a cat?)

Any whom, I hope Al has got out of his weird mood by next chapter, and Scorpius for that matter. And fauna seems to be dead set on becoming popular, and pushing Flora around a little bit which I don't think is a nice quality to have (nit being pushed, but the pushing). But anyway, just thought I'd drop by to say that I am in love with this story, and that I'm a Al/Flo shipper, and that you should up date soon again to yeah...

10/10 because of the awesomeness that is Willoughby, and of course the awesomeness the just emanates from Flora :)

I thought this was fantastic. Very maturly written and it worked really well in the second person. I thought that you actaully got Lavender very well. All her insucerties sutbly shined through in the books but were never really pick up on so well done for that!

I like the Rumplestiltskin bit was very good, both unexpected, sad, and imaginative.

I loved how abstract yet real it was.

Awww it was quite sweet. I'm a Fred/Lonnie shipper I think. But Lonnie's changed a little bit in this chapter. She almost becoming too reliant on her happily ever after and not really looking at life! hmmm Anyway i love Lonnie, so it's fine. Fred was sweet, but you've scared me with the forced smile and her worry that everything was plastic...

Oh and who's this Andrew? Fishy (waggles eyebrows).

Author's Response: There's like two Fronnie shippers, now! I'm glad you noticed, it's a side effect of being in a relationship. She is determined to make it work, because as it stands, she believes so long as she gets to her Happily Ever After, she'll be happy.

The forced smile was really just Fred showing he was upset that he couldn't make her laugh, and she only seems to giggle around him.

Andrew is Lonnie's older brother, he was mentioned in like the first chapter! :)

My god I never really fully realized how messed up Aria was, and I miss Jett, I wish he could come back. But not the angry Jett the nice happy Jett! Please, pretty please with a cherry on top?

Sorry, I'm very angry at the moment. Grrr. He's such a bastard sometimes, it makes my blood boil. Oh and since when was Dom getting skinny, (insert: shocked face) she can not, NOT be anoerxic please for the love of god!

Jaggy better get a move on, snails move faster than they do i swear, i despretly feel like putting them a turbo powered car with 1000 horse power and pushing them down a hill to speed things up!

I knew it. I knewww James was in love with her, and I kneww Alex would try and 'seduce' her , I'm cykick I swear. Not that it didn't come as a surprise cause I didn't think they would happen in the same chapter but I think it worked. I only have 1 little criticism though, I think Jett and Arias relationship ended a little abruptly and why it ended was a little iffy and didn't really make sense but.., I don't know it makes it sound like more is going to happen between them.

Anyways good chapter, I especially liked the ending, it was adorable :D

Author's Response: Well, I guess you are psychic! I'm glad you think it worked well :D As far as Jett/Aria goes, it was supposed to seem abrupt. You're supposed to be confused because Aria is as well. It did have to do some with Jett's issues that James talked about, but more so with some things that you'll be finding out in the next chapter. And more is definitely going to happen between them. Whether it's good or bad, we'll see... Thanks for the review!

Well, I have to admit, that I am a HUGE literary nerd and a HUGE book worm. I love Jane Austen, Noel Streatfeild, Karen Blixen aka Isak Dinesen and J.K.Rowling (obiviously). But I have to say that you, as an author, are up there in my top ten list of favourites. Really.

I love all your stories and read them avidly and when ever you up date I usually do one of 2 things, fall of my chair, or do my famed victory dance (iI tend to look like a mad cow, when i do it). But i have to admit I am increadibly impatient and was silly enough to skip out quite a few chapters in the middle of this story because... well I don't know why but i did and there you go.

So i read it again form about chapter 15, and loved it all the same and was, as everyone else, readily a waiting your update. And here it is in all its glory. I really, am quite undecided, I love it, but I want to know what happened. But what I really love, is the subtle way Adele has changed, you can really see how hard and cold she has become, and though i don't like people like that, you write her very well.

But i have another confession, I get really in to storries so I'm sitting here like a nervous wreck, freaking out about Al reaction, because i have a feeling it will resemble something like the eruption of vesuvius. So i pretty much eat all of my nails of like some freak. I'm really rather nervous, but what I'm saying is, I really like the change, the story benefits from it really, nothing else would have worked.

Also, some day, I aspire to be as good an author as you.
