:) Thank you so much. For me, I needed the closure. I needed to write this little story so that I knew what Hollis's life was like later, just out of curiosity. I'd been writing her for months and missed it, so this was my way of entering her life again.

First - thank you for writing this. I just had to keep reading it until the end that I've been skipping my revision for some exams and let me tell you - it was worth every second.

I'm not going to lie, it was downright depressing and heart-breaking that Laura died, knowing that this is the end of Sirius and Laura after being with her for three years of her life and knowing what they've been through together.

But afterwards thinking back, I think that this is really the best option. I love how Sirius stays strong after this, knowing that he had to fight because he has nothing left to lose. You've portrayed his feelings in the epilogue fantastically, him thinking of Laura and reading his letter left me in tears!

I don't think he'll ever be the same after this - the ending is simply, there's no other word to describe it: beautiful.

First of all, I don't condone skipping real life responsibilities in order to read this story - but then again it's a huge compliment to me so I wont' complain. :)

Secondly, thank you for understanding. I really did feel this was the only way I could end it while having it really fit canon and the Sirius that we knew in the books, but I admit that I copped some flak from people who wanted a happy ending. But yeah, him feeling that he had nothing left to lose really does fit with how we knew him in the canon so I'm glad you appreciated that.
