I stumbled upon this fic because I've been listening to Vincent by Don McLean all day and I wondered if anyone had taken inspiration from it for a fic. So here I am! I assume that is where the title comes from? Anyway, I don't usually read fics based around OCs but since I actively came looking for a fic inspired by this song, I decided to give it a go. And I really really really enjoyed it. Even though this was a short opening chapter, I am completely intrigued as to where this story is going. I cannot wait to see where you take Lavinia's character. The idea of art in the HP universe is something that fascinates me so I'm really looking forward to see how it plays a role in this fic. Overall, I'm so glad I came across this fic and I'm excited for the next update!

Amazing. I love Harmony fics that can fit into canon and you have done this beautifully. The way you interwove the dialogue and action was fantastic and kept me enthralled all the way through. You have crafted Harry and Hermione's relationship well - you made the pairing believable which other Harmony fics often struggle with. You managed to create something so sweetly tragic and I applaud you.
