Review #1, by PeakyLasting Memories.: Lasting Memories.

17th August 2010:
Alrighty, after reading this fantastic fic I felt the tears well in my eyes and spill over down my cheeks. I really felt for Hermione and the loss she holds, although I balled even harder when I found out Draco was her guardian angel and the little tradition they had on each of their anniversaries.

The flow was good as was the punctuation, grammar, I didn't see any mistakes and the song was a beautiful touch.

10/10 - From Peaky

Author's Response: Aw, why thank you so much. I didn't really mean to make people cry, but at the same time I'm pleased- which I know sounds both cruel and strange. Mainly because it's such an emotional piece for the readers, and the characters, which was partly my intention. I admit, when I first started to write this story I wasn't expecting it to be such an emotional piece. However, I think that the song and the story line just took me, and the original piece of this story just flowed. It's taken me about 5 editing phases to get it to this, now, posted story so it's been altered slightly every now and again until I was happy enough to actually post it.
That particular part was actually very difficult to write, for two reasons, the first being I didn't want it to sound corny, and the second being that I didn't want to make it sound lesser than it really is. So, I'm hoping I have been able to find the right balance between the two of them.
Thank you so much for your absolutely fantastic review. To see such a detailed review is so useful to me as an author so thank you. I'm also amazed that you liked the story so much, so once again thanks must go to you.

Review #2, by PeakyPerfect: It was the first of a lot of things...

24th June 2010:
Hey there!

Peaky from the forums here, just stopping by to offer my thoughts/advice/review as you requested. :) Iím sorry this is slightly delayed, my internet decided to go over its limit and it decided to get a virus/crash. Anyways, onwards!

So, after reading the whole story I can honestly say that the flow and characterisation is pretty good, youíve actually got me hooked on this little one-shot. Although I havenít read All is NOT fair in Love and War, I think that this little story stands well on its own. I think I read it ages ago actually, itís a little fuzzy round the edges but its slowly coming back or Iím just getting confused with a different oneÖnot sure. The Gypsy reference got me slightly confused but I went back and re-read everything a few times (which I donít mind doing,) and I understood it so thatís all G. I think the concept fits in well, its different and new. :) So instant win in my books.

As for Sirius and Saleena, their relationship screams chemistry in your face. The way youíve written is breathtaking, the parallels between their two different worlds does give the reader a wider perspectiveÖ I think one of the other reviewers mentioned it and you stayed in canon really well for Sirius minus the fact youíve never really written about him for the Marauders Era.

I couldnít pick up any grammatical/spelling errors, so its all well and good.

Iíll be adding this one to my favourites list as for skipping on over to All is NOT fair in Love and War.

Well written and an amazing piece of work. :)

Signing out,

Author's Response: I've got you hooked? Lol, that's awesome!! :)

Review #3, by PeakyKnowing Nothing is Better than Knowing It All: Insufferable Know-It-All

16th June 2010:
I loved this story, it wrenched my heart so tightly. I love it when people write about Snape in this sort of manner. I'm fond of him and his portrayal in the movies is simply amusing, a job well done. I can't say anything about grammar or spelling because I didn't pick up any problems. :)

I look forward to reading your other fics.

Well that was funny, I love it. Try describing what they're doing so the reader has something to read although we could picture it in our heads. ;)

Author's Response: I'm glad you liked it, thanx for the nice review :)
