OH my gosh. A squishy bouncy ball. That is ridiculous, but I love it!

Love that the first chapter was after Sirius broke out and that this chapter is a flashback. And Remus is very Remus-like. I can already tell and I really appreciate that you're staying so true to his character. But where's Peter? I can't imagine they'd have lunch without him.

also, author to author, commas are your friend when separating phrases. I'm also one of those writers that uses them when I want the reader to pause in their head before continuing on, but that comes from my acting experience and play writing stuff. But everyone's style is different. Again, everything is nice and vivid. I can see it happening in my head, which makes things fun for me as a reader. Well done.

Author's Response: Well... I could have said a bone but with the experience I have with my own dog; a bouncy ball seemed more fun to use :) Oh good! I'm glad I've captured his persona well enough... hopefully I've done a good job with Sirius and James and Peter and other character who are familiar and yes... I realise I have not included Peter... and I have to confess that I totally and completely forgot about him :/ Sorry :) maybe it's the whole thing about him being the traitor... I'm not so fond in writing about him as much but in my other chapters and in future chapters he is and will be mentioned more :)

What fantastic writing! I think I caught the word "thought" without a T, but that's completely irrelevant. I love the way you describe things. It's so vivd. I can't believe that this story doesn't have more reviews!

I completely agree on Prisoner of Azkaban being my favorite book. Sirius and Remus have always intrigued me too! I'm excited to continue. You might want to change the summary of the story to what you said in your author's note. I think it would be more appealing and draw in more readers. :)

Alright, so I've already read the story (as I told you on twitter) but now I'm going back and reviewing, so expect many more to come!

1. I already love Avery. She's super feisty and witty and that makes me happy.

2. James's character has me rolling from the very start. His mental comments are so funny and the whole thing with Paloma Dove? Hysterical.

Uhm, favorite quote was probably “He’s a Weasley, he’s got a thick head,” because it's so true!

So glad to see Hermione standing up for her morals and not letting the Hunters go to Azkaban without a fair trial! Of course, nothing's ever easy. When is the Wizarding World going to get a Minister of Magic who isn't an idiot??

Anyways, your writing is terrific! I love all the strong verbs you use and your description of all the little things, like the guards being affected by Azkaban. Not many writers think of things like that. Glad to see people are still thinking through the details of their stories! 10/10

I'm sorry that I'm just now getting around to reading this! I feel like a horrid friend. But I really like the way the story is taking shape! I'm really curious to find out about what happened to Draco that's changed him, and all of your characters are really... in character. lol. The relationship with Ginny/Harry/Hermione is great and I like that Ron is still very Ron.
