That is one of the most cruel cliff-hangers I've ever encountered! But I love it :) This was a very well-written chapter (although every other chapter is well-written too). I really wasn't expecting Scorpius's mother to be killed, and the detail that went into it is highly admirable. I also love Scorp's internal struggle between becoming his father and maintaining his own path.

All in all, I'm really glad that I checked for a new chapter! Can't wait for the next- but I understand what you mean by SATs and AP exams...I'm in the same boat! Though I'm about to make myself walk the plank from all this studying (sorry about the terrible joke, but I couldn't resist...forgive me?)

Thank you so much for the compliment! I have to admit, it was my great beta who made me see i needed to add more detail to the moment. I actually really love this chapter because that internal struggle finally becomes apparent, and it most probably is going to be an ongoing theme.

It's so good that you love the way this plot is going =D But, yes, sorry for the excruciating cliffy...it was necessary.

I really, really love this! There are a lot of Rose/Scorpius fics out there, but you can really pull it off. It's both well written and interesting- I can't wait for more :)

I really love this idea. Sometimes James/Lily fics tend to sound the same, so the list aspect is rather refreshing (not to mention interesting). And I love how violent of a mind Lily has...I definitely wouldn't want to make her angry!

As for lists...don't laugh! It's all I can come up with: Shampoos That Would Make Me Want to Touch Snape's Hair...or some variation. Not incredibly original, but I figured I'd try.

Anyway, can't wait for the next chapter!

Author's Response: Couldn't agree with you more. It's all about finding something different to add, and as you say, the lists do that. Haha, Lily's mind really just is a development of mine.
I won't laugh. You should hear some of my ideas for writing some times, then you'd laugh. I like your list, but do you mind if I change it to Shampoos With Amazing Smells? I like the shampoo part very much!
