I absolutely adore this story. I love how rose and scorpius aren't typically cliche. In general you've managed to stay away from all the dreadful next generation cliches. All the characters are written well. I especially love the fact that scorpius doesn't hate his father, and the fact that not everyone is an auror. Update soon!

I love this story. Never has a portrayal of the next generation been so funny without sticking to the sordid cliches like a pregnancy.
I love Ariadne. She is a strong female character, but not a Mary Sue. I was literally laughing out loud the whole time. I Love it and can't wait for the next chapter

I really liked this chapter, but I hated it. Neely is being so stupid. Why is she feeling sorry for Sirius? I know everyone is supposed to feel sorry for him, but I really hate Sirius. And I really like the way you write Regulus. His brutal honesty makes him such a likable character. He straight out admits to what he believes in and doesn't beat around the bush with Neely. And yay! Finally an author that acknowledges Sirius running away hurt his family. Keep up the good work and I can't wait for the next chapter. I' m just hoping Sirius won't be in it.

Author's Response: Neely feels sorry for Sirius because she realizes that he still likes her, but at the same time, she can't be with him because she technically made a pledge to Regulus. And yes, I think it'll be very interesting to write about the Blacks' reactions to Sirius' running away fromn home :) Also, I'm sorry you hate Sirius so much but he probably will be in the next chapter and will definitely appear in future chapters in this story.

Absolutely love this story. And I love the way that you portray Fleur and Audrey. Usually Fleur is displayed as a ditz, and Audrey is displayed as being cold and exactly like person. Your characterizations are all spot on and breathe new life in these cliched characters.

This story is one of my favorites by you, but my absolute favorite by you is The Wasteland Chronicles which you haven't updated in forever!

i absolutely love this story. Your characterization, of James, Al, Ginny, Harry, Rose, Scorpius are all spot on. I especially love when you focus on Dom, Victoire, and Teddy. I find them to be the most interesting characters. I can't wait for the next chapter. I just wish that we knew more about Lily and her life at her Muggle School

Regulus. without a doubt regulus is better. but we wll know that Neely is going to end up with Sirius because that is what always happens in these fics because Regulus dies, but they still want a happy ending. but I frickin' love your Regulus to pieces, but in this fic I can;t find myself rooting for Sirius.

Truly a fantastic chapter. I really enjoy your writing style and characterization. Vivien is quite an interesting person. One could almost say she is the anti Mary sue for me, vivien is just quite an indifferent person. The very early years of her life were spent being neglected and that has had interesting repercussions on her life.
Vivian's astute observations make the story from her pov quite insightful. The shape lily in this chapter was killer.
all in all a really great chapter, but I was wondering one thing. How is this a rewrite of the fires within? Just a tad bit confused

Author's Response: When I re-write something, I re-write it entirely. It's taking place at the same time as Fires Within, and also includes Grimm as guardian with Snape as a major character, but those are about the only similarities. It's mostly because of Grimm that I labeled this as a re-write of Fires Within - to include him in an entirely different story that was taking place at the same time as Fires Within would have been confusing too.

Anyway, this is the story that I wish Fires Within had turned out to be. By the time I finished that one, there were so many changes I wanted to make, so I'm working through them all here. :D

It's really wonderful that you like Vivien - she's been difficult to develop thus far, and I've got my fingers crossed that she'll continue to work out. I'm glad that she's an anti-Mary Sue of sorts - I'm trying to make her realistic, with a lot of her own issues that affect her place in the Marauder-era world.

I seriously LOVE this story. I found this chapter interesting for a number of reasons.
1. We learned more about Scorpius and the Grimmauld Incident. Poor Rose. I have a feeling though that not all is as it seems. Also, commander Teddy? Interesting
2. We saw the New Regime from the prespective of a devout soldier. All of the Watch scenes were starting to annoy me. They're supposed to be 'good' but their motto is Tourjours Pur?
3. Seeing the politics from the newspaper perspective, and also seeing how Albus is able to twist anything.

I am looking forward to new chapters and unraveling this mystery and figuring out all my questions. This is definitely one of my new favorites, as far as very non- canon stories. Definitely looking forward to reading more in the future
