Author's Response: The film adaptations use the best lines/scenes from the book, so if you watch one (even the Keira Knightly version where the Mr. Darcy is NOT my idea of Mr. Darcy) it would almost be like reading Pride and Prejudice: the good parts edition. :D

I want to know why he was a Marauder and why he betrayed them, but then hesitated with Harry. (I don't know if I'll completely give a reason, but maybe at least an inkling as to a possibility.)
