Scorpius tried to take her son away from her. For me, any possible chance of reconciliation between the two characters ended there. I have absolutely no understanding of how Rose could still love the guy that put her through that. A passionate history between two people can only mean so much. I feel like there are a lot of problems and hurt that people can work through...but not that (custody battle). Whether or not Rose ends up with Tom, she should not end up with Scorpius.

Yep, sorry. I definitely hate him.

He's far more selfish than Rose is, and what makes it worse is that he, unlike her, doesn't seem to realize it.

I don't know if I can accurately describe how much I DO NOT want them to end up together. I realize I've said this in past reviews, but there are some things that can't just blow over in relationships. Unless you've got something hidden up your sleeve...

Also, Jenny is a lousy friend.

Wow, a lot of time was skipped there it seems...you may want to add a 'one year later' type note to the beginning. It isn't very hard to figure out where the chapter starts, but the note might come in handy anyway. It was really good, though :)

I haven't seen this story yet, so I'm going through it for the first time...just thought I'd say that before reading the next chapters. It was a very good start (short, but good). My favorite bit was the line where Narcissa sees in him 'what only a mother can'...that was a nice touch. Good job!

Wow. I don't know what to say.

Ok, really, I do. I'll start by the usual...I love your writing, and you are brilliant. I think you have more talent in one of your pinky fingers than I have in my entire being.

But on to the story where it stands - What is Audrey thinking? It seems to me as though Percy has enough bad blood between him and his family in the past that he wouldn't want to mess with that. He needs to grow a pair and figure out exactly what his wife is up to. That whole part caught me off guard, and I don't know where it's going.

Rose - I get that she's not the sweetest person on the face of the earth (to put it mildly), but I really have some sympathy for the poor girl. I feel like everybody is pointing fingers at her and telling her everything she's ever done wrong...and that isn't good for anybody. She really needs someone who is on her side right now, and nobody seems to be stepping in to fill that roll for her. Except Brian, and he's non-existent for everybody else in the story (will anybody else ever meet him?)...

Scorpius - I'm liking him less and less. I don't think he's good enough for Rose. At least not how he's been written in the sequel so far. Maybe he was a good prospect for her in Delicate and in the time period before Still Delicate picks up, but as he is now...I don't know...I think he and Daisy work well together.

So, basically, where I'm trying to go with this is that there's so much crap between everyone...Audrey and the rest of the Weasley's, Rose and Scorpius, Daisy and Rose, and even Jenny and Rose now...I'm having trouble figuring out where all these relationships will lead. I know going through hard times can bring people closer together, but more often those hard times drive people apart. Somebody(s) is going to get hurt. I don't foresee a happy ending, which sucks :(

I hope I am wrong (Rose and Laura are friends now, right?). Take this as a compliment, I just thought about your story a lot. Lol,

Wow. I'd be so ticked at Jenny if I were Rose. If you think about it, Jenny has no real connection to Daisy. Sure, Al and Scorpius are friends, but that's pretty much the extent of it...and it's not as if she's known Daisy all that long (or so I think). Thanks for bringing Laura along, though, haha...she'll brighten it up for Rose.

Also, there's this Rhett Miller song, called Delicate...and the whole song doesn't remind me of this story, for obvious reasons if you google the lyrics. BUT there is one part...

"I was just down, I was not over you
I am accountable, I can't be held
It's just like you said it's all
Just like you said all wrong
I was in love with you but you were delicate"

And everytime I hear that song, I think of this story :)

Do you have a notebook where you write them down as they come to you, and then figure out how to fit them into the story?
