Very nice interaction between Draco and Hermione, as well as between Hermione and the Headmistress, and I loved Rosalind's description! However, I think Careen is a bit too mature for a five year old and a bit too perfect for a character... maybe that's your intent, but still!

Author's Response: I don't think she's too perfect a character. Everyone is essentially flawed, its just that you haven't really had a chance to witness Careen's. And I've noticed that when some kids are put under... non-preferable situations, they seem to have to mature a lot earlier... as in they don't really get a chance to be a kid. I mean, no mother and a father who isn't sure he wants her? Sometimes these kids have to find a way to fend for themselves and, in Careen's case, Draco. I'm sorry if you think she's too unrealistic a character, but its a usual pattern (I think) in kids with broken homes and it isn't too unrealistic (I think =P) because according to one review, there is another kid like that somewhere out there. I'll admit, its rare. Of course it is. Its the dream child. But as Careen's life gets easier.. you will witness her being much, much more of a kid. =) Anywaaaaay... thank you so much for your review!
