OMG, I love your work. I have missed reading it so much. I'm so glad I came back to HPFF ... it's been a while since I've read anything here, lol. Anyway, this story was fantastic and so LOL-hilarious. Makes you wonder what the characters would really think if they knew the things us fangirls put them through in ff ... haha. :P

10/10!

Jessica

Author's Response: jessica!! oh my, it's been long since I heard anything from you. thank you so much for dropping by and leave me a review ^_^
this plotbunny just jumped me one night and it refused to leave - it was lots of fun writing it, I usually never do humour fics. glad to see you back on HPFF, I'll make sure to check out your recent work! xxx

Review #2, by sunshinedreamrSaving You, Saving Me: Two

8th June 2008:
I loved this line:

“Now he’s trying to save bloody Malfoy.”

Hehe. Harry and his "saving people thing." And that was such a Ron thing to say. lol.

I love your characterizations. I think you've done a great job of showing the friendships and relationships Hermione has with different characters, and how each is so different but each one of them truly cares for Hermione and her well being. Well, except for Ron who is just oblivious by nature to anything that doesn't directly involve him ... lol. Gotta love Ron for that ...

Can't wait till the next chapter. I wonder what the appointment was that Draco missed with his father? Hmmm ...

Author's Response: LMAO... I know... I love that line too... you can just hear Ron saying it! Thanks for the characterization complemnet.. I try ;)
Chapter 3 is sitting in queue... still...lol
Lets hope validation goes quickly!

Review #3, by sunshinedreamrSaving You, Saving Me: One

8th June 2008:
Loved it. I know I already read the first part of this chapter in my special sneak peek (lol) but the rest of the chapter was just as great. I loved how in one part when Draco was debating with himself in his mind, he thought about how his father wouldn't have helped Hermione, and then basically went ahead and helped her anyway just to spite his father. That is the true Draco Malfoy I know and love, lol. Great job! Moving on to the next chapter now ...

Author's Response: Hehe... we both know that Draco despises acting like his father in anyway (well in our stories anyways ...lol) and will do just about anything to avoid it...
So glad the sneak peak made you come back and read the rest ;)

Review #4, by sunshinedreamrDisenchanted: Disenchanted

27th May 2008:
I'm sorry I've been such a sucky reviewer lately. But I'm back! haha. I really liked this one-shot. The idea that Harry had lost his magic was so completely original. I have never read a fanfic with the same concept, so kudos to you on coming up with a unique idea. And it seemed very realistic. Everyone was in character, and Harry's worries seemed very real to me -- his biggest worries being that he would have to go back to the Dursley's and that he would have no defense against Voldemort. You have a very good view of Harry's character. Good job. And of course, I loved the little twist in the end as well. :)

Author's Response: Hehe.. so happy that you finally got a chance to read it... and even happier that you liked it. :) I think the best past of writting this story was everytime Harry's head hit the table I swear I could hear the "thump"... LOL
Can't wait for the next chapter of The M Word!

31st March 2008:
Bravo!!! *claps* hehe. I loved it. I wish I could have read it straight through without any interruptions, but work decided to be annoying and busy this morning, lol.

I loved your characterization of Dumbledore. He is such a hard character to write. At least for me he is, lol. But you did a great job and everything he said, I could actually picture him saying in canon. So that was great.

I think you wrote a sequel for this, right? I'm going to have to read that now. :]

Wonderful job on this whole story! I enjoyed it immensely.

Author's Response: Thank you Thank you! *takes a bow* lol
I know Dumbledore is SO hard to write... I don't do it that often... but it worked here ;) The sequel is Forever Love and is completly validated... though I never thought it would be... it was actaully rejected the first time I posted it and I had to go back and edited (slightly) some of my wording....
Can't wait to see what you think of it!!

31st March 2008:
The backstories on what happened to all the characters after graduation was great. I totally forgot about the DH epilogue while I was reading this, haha. Neville and Ginny, huh? I can see that. They would be cute together. LOL abour Ron and Ronnie. :P

10/10. Great chapter! Moving on now.

Author's Response: Yeah, so I wasn't that thrilled with the epilogue...lol.. had to change that ;)
Aparently I got ahead of myself in the last review.. you did get the joke about Ron and Ronnie... YAY

31st March 2008:
Aww yay! I am SO not a Harry/Hermione shipper, but that kiss was just too sweet not to love, lol. I loved this line:

Her salty tears tasted like liquid gold on his tongue.

Very nice description there. Count on Ron to burst in and screw everything up. lol. :P

Author's Response: Yeah, I'm with you... Hermione belongs with Draco...lol.... but we all stsrt somewhere... ;)
That was a great line huh? lol// I even surprise myself sometimes..lol.
Since you've already finished the story you now know that Ron didn't play that big of a part... did you notice my little joke witht he names though ;) Ron and Ronnie... hehe

Review #8, by sunshinedreamrReunion: Memories

31st March 2008:
Beautifully written, dear. I love your use of imagery, especially Hermione watching Harry's silouette by the lake. I also liked the idea of draping black ribbon over the empty seats of the professors that had fallen during the war. It was truly beautiful.

Author's Response: YAY! I really think that they would do something like that for the fallen teachers... I could see the great hall decorated to the 9s for the Reunion, but still have the ribbons drapping the empty chairs...

Aww this is so sweet. I love the trio's reunion stories. :] I love how they are all so happy, and Hermione's hugs from the guys were just so genuine and heart warming.

Going onto the next chapter now.

Author's Response: I'm so glad you liked it... this was actauly my very first fanfic... I noticed after this one they started getting a little darker....lol

Review #10, by sunshinedreamrMy Dark Angel: My Dark Angel

29th March 2008:
That was so beautifully written. I can't even begin to explain ... I'm so glad this story was finally validated so I could read it!

I loved the fact that there was only one spoken line in the entire story. I think all the descriptions added to it, and I could really feel Hermione's physical as well as her mental and emotional pain as she lay there on the ground unable to move. More spoken lines would have taken away from that intimacy the reader experiences with all the feelings flying around. So good job, I definitely liked that.

I'm guessing the dark angel in the end was Draco. I mean, I know you never said it for certain, but I'm saying it's Draco. lol. And if it is, that definitely leaves me wondering. Why was Draco the one to send her home? Hmm. I like it that you leave it open like that though, because it gives the reader room to wonder and completely open to their own interpretation.

So basically I loved this story. I think you did a great job with it, and I could only wish my descriptions were that good! haha. A 10/10 for you! :]

Author's Response: YAY! I'm so gald you liked it! I actually got out of work one morning, sat down, and wrote the entire thing in like an hour...I'll never confirm or deny anything when it comes to my endings.. but yeah....
So "if" it was Draco... it leave the question...
What he sending her home because he was the one to find her after surviving the battle.....?
Or did he not survive and was acting as a "gardian angel" of sorts.. hmmm...
much to think about ;)
As far as the discriptions, thank you so much and your discriptions are wonderful and well suited to your writting style ;)

I eagerly wait for the next chapter of The M Word.... ;) so get going...lol

I'll be on later 2nite so msg me...

Review #11, by sunshinedreamrBlack Roses and Bleeding Hearts: Black Roses and Bleeding Hearts

26th March 2008:
AHHH OMG I KNEW IT!!! That was just the slash fangirl in me though, haha. How can you just end it like that??? Come on, you can't leave me hanging. What happens next? Do they have a hot and steamy snogging session? Does Harry punch Draco in the face and leave him broken hearted? Or ... oh, oh, oh, or did Draco just want to lure Harry there to kill him?? Haha ok now I'm letting my imagination run away with me. But seriously, OMG!! Sequel, like now. Please. :]

Haha sorry ... I'm so hyper this morning and I don't know why. Anyway, this story was amazing. And other than my slash fangirl squees of delight that is was Draco, I also loved all the dark imagery, with the bleeding heart, black roses, and even the dark lake added to it. I could picture everything in my mind so clearly. Especially the end when Harry was nearing the lake, and how anxious and nervous he was. I could see the shadowed and dark cloaked figure with his hood up. Amazing. This is going in the favorites, dear. :]

10/10

Author's Response: YAY! so glad you liked it... we all have to be able to let the slash fan girl out once in a while lol.. It was one of those ones that just sort of hit me... litteraly... I was at work... started typing... and like 2 hours later... there is was... titled and everything. Same thing happened with the one in validation... just poof! there it is.

And just a bit of FYI... I am considering a sequel and have been playing around with some story lines in my head... but I have one I have to finish first (I just finished writting chapter 9 the othr day... probably got another 3 or 3 to go before it wraps up) and after our littel review converstaion the other day I've had some ideas playing around in my head to do a story about "Hermione's problem" (stress related) you know which one I'm talking about... and I think I've already figured out how I'm going to turn it into a Dramione....lol

Ugh.. gotta get ready for work!
Expect that last reveiw from me 2nite ;)

6th March 2008:
Oh my ... I'm crying now. I literally screamed when Draco almost stabbed himself. And then Ron stopped him and I sighed and relief. And then Ron stabbed himself and I started bawling. I don't think I have ever read a work from any author who has ever made me feel so many emotions all at the same time, lol. You are amazing dear. This story is just ... wow. I'm sorry, lol, I'm still so in shock after reading this chapter. You sure have a way of throwing me for a loop, lol.

Author's Response: Thank you sunshine ^_^ I am really happy to know you are so involved in my characters that they affect you so greatly!

I love this story!! I think you've done a great job with it so far. I liked how you incoorporated things from Scorpius' past. It was especially interesting to read all the little tid bits of info about Draco that you made up. Your writing is brilliant. I love your descriptions and dialogue. A little tweaking with spelling and grammar and your story will be perfect. :] I'm excited to start beta-ing for you ... can't wait to find out what happens next. :D

Author's Response: Yay yay yay! I'm excited for you to start beta-ing! woot woot! thanks for taking the time to read and review...it means alot!

5th March 2008:
I think this chapter is my favorite so far. :] I loved the tension. I loved the way you had everyone find out about Rose and Scorpius. I was a bit surprised that Olivia would stoop so low, but I guess that's just one more thing that adds to her character. Excellent job on this chapter. :]

Author's Response: Mine too! Olivia is byfar my favorite character to write...probably because she is completly my own! lol. Thank you so much :D

5th March 2008:
That was handled very nicely. I was a little confused at first about the flash back, but then I got it. lol. I liked how you had Scorpius be the one to initiate the kiss and bring up the whole love issue before Rose did. Actually, I think these last few chapters would have been very interesting to read from Scorpius' POV. I wonder if he has been in love with Rose for a long time, or if it was something that developed while they were working together ...

Author's Response: aw...shucks. thanks :) You'll just have to read on and find out...well I can just tell you. He's had feelings for her, but he just wouldn't let himself feel them...you know?

Review #17, by sunshinedreamrFools Like Me: Late Mornings and Hasty Notes

5th March 2008:
I was actually glad you didn't add romance in this chapter. I think a lot of author's on this site rush the whole romance aspect, which makes it seem terribly unrealistic. So good for you for prolonging it and giving it time to develop. I'm sure when it finally does happen, it will have been worth waiting for. :] You're a great writer and I'm really enjoying this story.

Author's Response: I'm glad you see it that way. I want this story to be at least semi-realistic, you know? Thanks for the compliments! that means alot to me coming from you because your story is ah-mazing dear.

Review #18, by sunshinedreamrFools Like Me: Distractions

5th March 2008:
My friends are beautiful, they are funny, they are charming, and I know almost nothing about them.

I loved this line. And it's so true about so many groups of friends. People get so caught up in the superficial and materialistic things that they don't even bother to get to know what their friends are like as people.

I like Rose's character. Sure, she's sort of snobby and stuck-up ... but she's a very interesting character to read about and I'm excited to watch her grow and develop as a person. Like Scorpius said, she "intrigues" me. :P

Author's Response: Yay! I'm really ecstatic that you like it. I think it's pretty important for a beta to actually like the story they are working on...so I am relived! haha!

Review #19, by sunshinedreamrFools Like Me: Oh No, Not Again.

5th March 2008:
I wanted to compliment you on the imagery of the moth in the beginning. I thought it fit pretty well with the story. Also, I think it's good that you incooporated a character with an eating disorder into the story, seeing as eating disorders are so prevalent today.

Author's Response: Thanks! I was inspired by my sophmore english assignment...lol! I thought the eating disorder might be controversial...but it's really important in developing Olivia as a character.

Review #20, by sunshinedreamrFools Like Me: You Don't Know Me

5th March 2008:
I really enjoyed Rose and Scorpius' conversation. I thought it was pretty necessary to the story for Rose's development. And I especially liked how it was Scorpius who pointed out all these things about her that she is in complete denial about. I also liked Scorpius's line: "You don't even know me." It makes me excited to get to know him. :] Good job.

Author's Response: Good good! Scorpius is my substitute lover...since I unfortunately have none. I'm glad you liked it :)

I like the personalities you have given the characters. I guess that's the good thing about these next generation fics -- you can make these characters into whoever you want them to be. I especially enjoyed Hugo's character.

Author's Response: I'm so pleased you like them. I completely agree about next generation fics. I love them because you can make them your own!

Hey there :]

Since you asked me to beta, I thought I'd come by and get myself aquainted with the story. And I have to say, my first thought when I started reading was why are you looking for a beta?? lol. Your writing is brilliant and I loved this chapter. I haven't read any of the "next generation" fics yet, but I really like this one so far. Great job. :]

Also, I wanted to say that I loved your description of Professor Kirkland. :]

And I'm glad to hear you are working on something original for publication. You are an amazing author and I would love to read your work outside of the Potterverse. :]

Another piece of beautiful work. :] And such a sad bitter sweet ending. I love how you've given Ron and Hermione closure, but have still kept that same sad tone about the story. It's so beautifully written and flowed so well. I also loved the idea that they met Harry in the Room of Requirement. That was nice. And the song lyrics fit the story perfectly. Another 10 for you. :]

Jessica

Author's Response: YAY! lol.. thanks again! I thought the Room of Requirement was perfect for that! So glad you enjoyed both stories!
Hope to hear from you soon!

Review #25, by sunshinedreamrOur Farewell: Our Farewell

28th January 2008:
I told you I'd come and review your stories as you are such a faithful reviwer of The M Word, so here I am. :]

I really liked this fic. As sad and somewhat depressing as it was, the emotions you portrayed here were so strong that my heart broke for each character involved. Hermione and Ron's pain was clearly evident, as was Harry's that he was simply watching his friends mourn over him and could do nothing to ease their pain. How frustrating that must have been for him.

Anyway, I think you did a wonderful job here. 10/10. :]

Jessica

Author's Response: Thanks for the R&R. This one and My Immortal are probably my personal faves so I'm glad you enjoyed it :)
Eagerly waiting for the next chapter on
