I like Lily's father as a psychology professor. She's dreaming about James already? That's a bad (good for James) sign! Marlene's last night at the Potter's was more than a little eventful. As painful a time as it was for her, it was so much worse for Sirius. I expect he will be a mess for a while. Thanks for the new chapter.
Author's Response: Thank you! I always wondered what Lily's parents would do you know? They never mentioned it, but I thought that would fit well. I mean he has to handle raising two girls by himself. Marlene did have a tough time and so did Sirius, but they will get through it. Thank you for reading and reviewing!

I really liked this first chapter. This is one of my favorite pairings and I like your start. I have always thought that James Potter would be well spoken and be friends with everyone (within reason - not Snape) - even girls. Sirius is a lost boy - he is sad in this first chapter. I look forward to reading where you are headed in this tale. Thanks for sharing it.
