Argh, I can't wait for Allegiance now! But this chapter made me sad a bit because of Ellie dying and all. I mean, so all of those chapters from when she came to were all like... nothing? That's a bit confusing, but really cool!

Author's Response: Yeah, Ellie hallucinated all the chapters between 19 and 22. It's that whole life flashing before your eyes concept that I took and made twice as evil. :)

And I wasn't sure I'd actually be able to kill Ellie because she's really grown on me, so I'm proud of the fact that I was able to do that as well, especially because she dies so young.

Ah, Shans was right! Ellie and honey are an odd mixture...well, honey coming from her mouth is sort of strange! @_@ I think it was rather original with the whole maze thing and at least, we now know that they're not totally useless without their wands, right? :D On the other hand, it was kind of weird that it seemed like only Ellie knew what to do. Besides that, I thought the chapter was wonderful! It makes me really, really excited for Allegiance! Which, according to your News section - probably won't be out for awhile, but oh well!

The last two remaining chapters are going to be amazing. I can't wait! *Hands Anders confetti* - toss at will ;)

Favorite part when she put the bowl of mashed on Sirius' head it was fantastical!
The whole tower was quiet hmm I wonder if they still think she is a raving mad death eater now after what happened and her whole reaction to seeing Blake it was a bit unexpected

Aw, Ellie. I have a really bad urge to photoshop Ellie's face with a huge scar across it. If I do, I'll leave it in your cbox! I have to admit that I was a bit annoyed with Sirius and James in the beginning, even though they were only trying to help - I just kept imagining what Ellie must be feeling.

Yup, Ben has officially lost creeper status! Before, he just kept popping up places and it just feels like he fits in this chapter. He was enjoyable here. They're really cute, actually ;)

Her dreams sound really scary. Man, imagine how sucky it'd be if you spent days without sleeping because you were terrified of it? I'd be dead on my feet - a literal zombie. I really wanted to give Ellie a big hug in this update! & Thanks for updating quickly, Anders ;); we love ya for it ♥

again it was fantastic and devastating
I suspected it would have happened but still her mom died
She blacked out from the news and I get it. Is it bad that that was probably my favorite part of the chapter? I think its because she is always so in control of herself and it was too much. Its shocking when you receive news like that even when in the back of your mind its expected and you do lose control
anyways it is so Ellie that she will distance herself to protect her siblings now especially after losing her aunt and mother and her father in jail
im anxious as to what will happen and peoples reactions when she returns to school I imagine Remus will be more protective everyone will
anyways it was magnificent i loved it

I thought about what her reaction would be like for a little while and it just seemed appropriate for it to be a black out for the exact reasons you stated. And it also made more sense for her to try and distance herself to keep them safe, but also (in the back of her mind) Ellie is worried that if she goes into hiding with them and has nothing to do, then she'll end up a complete emotional wreck like her mother was when her father was arrested.

And I'm hoping that people will enjoy the different reactions that she gets when she arrives back at Hogwarts. I know I am. :)

So, very interesting chapter, part of which was uneventful.
I hate that Arabella died, she was such a strong character especially when she totally pwned Ellie's dad, whose name I sadly cannot remember. Gah!
It was also very filler-y which is good cause I hate when stories are so action packed and author's never take time away to just calm down and well, fill in the blanks! Haha.
Also, mild flirtation between Benjy and Ellie? ;D
Yeaah Ellie, not even out of the hospital and already got her swag on. Go for the damsel in distress thing! Dudes dig that! Haha!

Ah, poor Ellie :( I like the idea of her scar though, something marring her face - causing her to forever remember that attack and everything. Honestly, I am so curious as to how you're going to tie these all together! I want to know now :( Bah, amazing update. I like that you made two original Order of the Phoenix members healers (I don't recall anything in canon that said that they were, but it makes sense!).

Is it really her father's fault? Did he really think this was going to happen? Did he know that he was being selfish? Those were some of the questions that were flying through my brain! How's Quinn and Isabella going to deal?

Ah, revenge - may I ask a question about Allegiance? Does it revolve around Quinn? Hehe, you know I'm always curious ^^ - I can't wait 'til the next chapter, Anders. You always know how to keep us coming back :P

And Ellie really isn't in the frame of mind where she's thinking things through too well when it concerns her father. In her mind he committed a crime and it led to the attacks, which means he's to blame. She's not considering a whole lot of other options at the moment.

And yes, Allegiance will be revolving around dear little Quinn. :)

It was long. I LOVE long chapters! I do especially when they involve this story.
So to begin with I cant believe that her father is cutting a plea bargain and the events to follow it are sure to be memorable. Poor Rosaline I really hope she doesn't die I liked her. Now onto dislikes I really don't like Ben I just discovered it this chapter. I mean I had an inkling that I did but I wasn't really sure now I know I really don't like him not sure what it is.
I love reading her interaction with the guys and the situation with her and Lily is sad but I dont think I would be able to trust her either I too have trust issues.
Yay for Ellie making a Patronus and the bull is so her it fits
now onto what made me come back to leave a review after I had been to lazy to log on again. I went to your website for this and noticed that one of my reviews was up there Im still giddy lol
anyway very very very very good chapter it was fantabulous I loved it and I seriously can't wait until the next one with things getting VERY interesting Im intrigued

I actually like Ben a lot. I have gotten a couple of reviews telling me that they don't like him either, so I probably did something to make that happen. I'm guessing it's because he isn't Remus or Sirius, but that's just a theory at the moment. :)

I love the interaction between Ellie and the guys as well. The four of them are so entertaining and I love the fact that I managed to get Ellie to loosen up a bit and enjoy life a little more.

And yeah, long chapters are awesome, they're just annoying to try and write. :)

Another great chapter. I wish Ellie had forgiven Lily, but I understand where she's coming from. On the other hand, Ben really creeps me out. Just, something about him is really...off - I don't know if you meant to do it on purpose, or if it's just me, but yeah..there's just something odd about him that I can't really put my finger on.

I love your Peter. He isn't some dumb cling-on to the Marauders, he's actually ONE of them. It's quite nice. :)

Author's Response: I actually didn't mean for him to come off as being so creepy, but I guess it works. Ellie is kind of attracted to that for some reason. And creepier characters have been written before (ie. Edward Cullen from "Twilight" who pretty much stalks Bella). :)

Even if it had been in Ellie's character to forgive Lily, I would have had a hard time letting her do it to be honest. It would have seemed too cliche to me and I hate writing stories with cliches (hence the reason none of my main characters ever end up dating Sirius Black).

And I absolutely love Peter in the story because he has a backbone now and he really does fit in with them.

I don't like Ben. Ben is a weenie.
First and foremost, I must say that Lily did not do a good job in apologizing and I am very glad that Ellie did not forgive her because if she did, it would be cliche and not very Ellie like. Remus should know that! He of all people would be a cliche hater. :D
Speaking of Remus, I simply adored that scene between those two. It's good to see some normalcy once in a while between two friends.
And back to Ben - I still don't like him! I mean, well I don't hate him, I just don't think that him and Ellie should be together. They just don't fit together, and at the moment, I don't think Ellie should be anyone. SO GO AWAY BEN!
And as usual, lovely chapter, without as much humor because I am tired and I didn't take my medicine.

I actually like Ben. He may seem like a jerk and a bit of a stalker, but he has a good heart and he genuinely cares about Ellie's well-being. I also love the scene between Ellie and Remus because it does add some normality to an otherwise odd story. :)
