Awwwww, I'm almost like crying here! My eyes have gone all watery and my sister is staring st me because I'm crying in front of the pc.......Anyway I thought this was really kind of, bittersweet. This was a lovely idea for a one-shot and a truely intriguing read. You did such a magnificent job at portraying Ron that, at times, it really did feel as if I had stepped into his toughts. You have a wonderful comedic timing that suits him to a "t".

Which brings me to my beef, if you will. You did so spectacularly at making him seem loveable that when the time came for the tragedy of it all, it felt a bit manufactured. As Ron recalls Hermione's death, I struggle with believing that the words are his and not yours. I would have liked to see a more solemn Ron throughout or maybe more descriptive paragraphs. I just wanted more.

But please, do understand that I LOVE this fic and I LOVE your writing. Nothing I have said is meant to be taken as hurtful or deconstructive (I'm not even sure if that's a word). You are now one of my favorites!

Ah. So sad, but beautifully written! I love a good Ron and Hermione fic, and they are so hard to find now-a-days. It's pretty much the only ship I support, and write about. Ron and Hermione fics are a dying breed, and I'm so happy when I can find and read a great on like yours. You've made my day, regardless of how unbearable sad this story was. Awwwww! So cute! So sad! So--SNAPE?! I thought it was Malfoy! *rubs chin* Oh well. I loved this one-shot! I loved how Ron was still...well...RON, even in old age. I think my favorite line is "But it was also the year we lost a great old crack box, Albus Dumbledore." Old crack box! HA! I didn't like him much, but I didn't want him to die! *pouts* Ah well. Add to favorites I must!

Its too early to discuss it. should be it's.

A mixture of intense love at finally being with Hermione and heart breaking loss over Dumbledore overwhelmed us as we watched his funeral. The most wonderful thing that had ever happened to me was quickly extinguished by the harsh reality that is life. this is a wonderful paragraph. when reading HBP I never thought about ron and hermione's feelings when Dumbledore died...but you draw them out here wonderfully.

For there lying on the ground was Hermione.

Dead.

this was a wonderful story. I think this is the first Ron POV story I've read that I've actually enjoyed, so well done!! *adds to favs*

Hey nice cute story. I liked the ending it ended every so sweetly but I personally think that Ron wouldnt start out like that, he would be depressed all the way. Also I like the memory although I dont know that he'd say good-bye more like "Dont leave.". But thats just my thoughts. Also there were some words that were so fancy pancy for Ronald xD lol. So hopefully you wont be offended, just some advice for next time. But all in all nice job!
