This is just as great as your other stories, not that I expected anything less than perfect.

I really do have to say, you had just the right amount of imagery there(;

I love how you made Lily slightly cunning, with the watch thing(; I also adored how you incorportated Sirius and Alice.

I can perfectly imagine the look on Lily's face when Sirius offered to watch Harry! I love your stories, darling! Especially this one because it birhgtened my mood!

Author's Response: Ever you are so sweet ♥ Hahaha okay, so when my fiance and I got our puppy, he was a rescue from a puppy mill. He's a min pin, and he was five weeks old - so we have on our hands this tiny, can fit in the palm of our hand, week little guy and we were too scared to sleep in case something happened. We took turns, and I really wanted to set his alarm cock on his phone to go off sooner so it could be my turn to sleep.. which is where Lily's pocket watch trickery came from, haha!

Calling for a wonderful rview swap :)

Everything was so real it seemed like it could really happen. Harry wailing, Lily being exasperated and James adding sarcastic and witty comments. You characterized everyone perfectly and I loved all of their characters so much. I couldn't possible pick a favorite and best characterized one. You did a really good job with this one-shot and I loved every second of it.

There were no massive mistakes or even any little ones as far as I can pick out. I am not going to complaine about anything about this one-shot because I thought it was perfect in every single way possible. Please write more like this.

Lily hadn’t realized she’d been starting at him

I think you meant staring. :) Anyway, this was so lovely! You showed the reality and the darker side of parenthood and in a wonderful way. And at the same time, the story was so nice and calming. Your descriptions were wonderful. I could imagine almost all the things you talked about. And what I loved most were the little details that made me feel that James and Lily really do have this gorgeous love between them. Also, it was so unique to have Lily play the piano for Harry. I think I 'aww'ed audibly right there.

This story was simply wonderful and it made me smile and grin and feel warm at heart. I don't think one-shots like this are pointless, I really like reading about the little, random moments in the life of James and Lily. Thank you for writing it. :)

I am so happy you liked this one shot, it was really fun to kind of give these two more of a human side. They were amazing people, but they were still people.
