I'm sorry but Lily is stupid for going back to James. Just because Courtney kissed him doesn't mean he had to reciprocate and from the your description of the first kiss she saw, he was clearly kissing Courtney back. It would have been easy to push her away and prevent her from kissing him, especially after it happened the first time and he knew that was what she would try to do. For it to happen once and him to push her away would be one thing, but for them to kiss 3 or 4 times and him to never see it coming and stop it is pretty unbelievable. So James is totally in the wrong and I think Lily was right not to trust him and she let him off way too easily. I hope that James actually stays loyal to her no matter how many girls come on to him.

Author's Response: I get exactly what you mean. It's all part of Courtney and Sirius's plan, mind tricks and seduction. I mean, seriously, James is a typical boy - he might love Lily but Courtney is basically the tart and you might find boys in real life all like "I love my girlfriend!" but along comes the Seduction Mistress and they're all over them. Just you wait until the next chapter. Chapter 11 is all about the Halloween ball and Phase 2 comes into play. It should be up pretty soon and I hope you like it when it gets validated :)

Not bad, and by the way I can help you with the banner thing- go to the forums and log in/register then you go to the forums tab and there's a list of newcomer must read etc... then after you get to know the site you can click on the banner wanted bit then etc... (you can also get a beta there as well)

ok so, i like the story line and everything, but james is supposed to be more 'cool', like when u said "snogged the life out of her", hes not like that. he shoulda just walked away looking glum (he has to keep a popular profile.) hope that'll help in the future

If you don't post another chapter by the time I'm finished writing this, I will crumble into a heap of despair. I liked the chapter, but it felt like an excerpt - I expected more to happen, like the evil plan. But then Jourtney (I'm bad at shipping, sorry) fell into a relapse and I was like WOAH! PS just a warning but I'm really critical on different POVs in the same story. (But please let the next chapter be uber long! But please don't spend like a month writing it because I am a very impatient person.) :)

Author's Response: Omg i'm so sorry ... are you a heap of dispair yet??!?! I wasnt that pleased with this chapter either but i decieded i had to update soon or my readers would grow fangs and hunt me down or something. As for sirius and courtneys evil plan, having lily catch courtney and james together was only phase 1. Maybe the next phase will the during the ball ...? Haha, i'l try to make the next chapter longer ;) im not sure when the next update will be because im writing the next chapter for a story called Peanut Butter Geli Time *hint hint* and then after that another one called Harry Loves Ginny - a Story by Isabelle *hint hint* but hopefully you wont have to wait too long

I absolutly love this story! I think you have described Lily perfectly, and also the situation with the 'Love Hate' relationship between herself and James is amazingly written. The only thing I think woud be not in Lily's nature is when she went out with Sirius. But honestly it doesn't bother me much, it creates a brillant twist. One of my favourite Lily/James fanfics so far.

Author's Response: Thank you so much for this review it means loads to me :) In response to your comment about it not being in Lily's nature to go out with Sirius, here's a bit of background information for you that wasn't in the story: Lily always knew James loved her but she never thought she would love him back. When, in the second chapter, she hexed him for coming into her dorm, she got that feeling she'd only had once before with a Muggle boy before she came to Hogwarts. She didn't like the feeling because it was for James, so she decided turn rebel and go out with Sirius. Partly so she could show James she didn't like him and partly because she hoped she would fall in love with Sirius in the meantime. She only loved him a little and found that she did love James and no one else. In the end she decided to fess up to James that she loved him. I hope that helped.
