I'm positive he will tell Draco why he kissed Hermione, just to gloat and watch the ferett squirm. Everyone made mistakes today, didn't they.

You could have had more fun with it... (I say in a sing song voice) Yet this is good too and got the job done quick. She is going to need some payback on this though. This was right up there with a prank. Just yelling at Ginny isn't enough, because what is she going to say? Don't ever do that to me again? She already knows Ginny wouldn't dare. And if you think about it, she already sort of forgave her for being nosey and picking her brain.
It was a good chapter, I thought it cute that she threw in asking if she had romantic feelings for Harry. She will always trust Harry around Hermione forever.

Author's Response: Yeah.. I know :3 But I don't think that Ginny would do that to her friend... She definitely wouldn't let her go rampaging around Campus and show that she was.. 'under the influence' xD It was incredibly enjoyable writing Ginny, interrogating Hermione :) I especially enjoyed adding in all of the little questions at the end.. Ginny's character is spot on. Harry's reaction and deilvery of the veritaserum is a fun twist as well.

2 things regarding the interrogation: It simply makes the user tell the truth. I didn't really enjoy the third person robotic answers Hermione was giving. Also, she wouldn't have known if Malfoy had given her a love potion - Ginny could have done other detective work to find that out.

Great idea, needs just a bit of polish on the execution.

Author's Response: Yeah.. I know about the veritaserum... But as I said in my A/N, there isn't any firm information on the effects of veritaserum, so I put my own spin on it so that I could, 'make it more serious for Ginny to do this to her friend.' I wanted it to show how deep Ginny's worry was.. And her relief and puzzlement when she realised that Hermione actually liked him...

Very cute :) I'm glad to see more of Hermione's friendship with Ginny for once.

Constructively: Try using a bit less punctuation. There are quite a few unnecessary commas, apostrophes, and exclamation marks. Most of your sentence structure is quite good and doesn't need the extra 'bits'. Same goes for capitalization; 'best friends', and patronus figures don't need capitals.

Just a few English nerd fiddly things I can't help notice. ;)
I'm hooked so far though!

I can see Ginny's point. All that stuff in their past and Hermione is just going to let it all go and jump Draco? Ginny going to Harry and Ron, what a tattle tale! Though I'm sure she will regret using the potion on Hermione once she does. I mean, how long does that stuff last? Immagine a Granger hopped up on that stuff going to classes? Hearing random questions in the corridores... Should be good for a laugh! She might end up teaching a class herself if everyone asks questions in class. lol!

Author's Response: Oh.. I am sure that Ginny sill regret using it too.. She is a good friend though.. I would probably be the Ginny in this scenario... No.. Veriteserum wears off pretty quickly.. There isn't a lot of information on Veriteserum so I kind of expanded it to my needs.. I doubt you will like what I made it do.. I just wanted it to be a BIG deal.. Using a powerful potion on her best friend.. But no :( I forgot about how funny it would be to have her around school with Veriteseum in her system :D Like the Kim Possible episode!!

Excellent as always. Just what I've come to expect from your work.

Ginny sure has a way of ruining a good time, doesn't she? glad she's with the program now though.
I wasn't too fond of the last sentance though.:
I simply shared silent laughter with Ginny and left the library, arms linked with Ginny. How about change it to: I simply shared silent laughter with Ginny and, we left the library arm in arm.
“Blessing? What are you getting marries or something?” Ginny sniggered.(You might want to change that s to a d.)
That was the only spelling mistake that jumped out at me.
It was a very good chapter. Malfoy has brought his feelings to Hermione's attention, nice moment. And Ginny protected her friend from the monster she remembersfrom the past. Ginny really is a good friend. If I were out drinking, I would want her with me to watch my back :)
