This is definitely an intriguing start to a story! You've set up an interesting, unique premise and already you have me wanting to know more. I like how you've characterized Lily, and of course the humor is always appreciated. :) The beginning was very good, you caught my attention and pulled me right into the story because I was curious about what in the world was going on!

I was emotionally invested while reading as well--I couldn't even comprehend why she would go off and sell the Marauder's Map! It horrified me, haha. But I'm a bit confused...why in the world would she be expelled for that? I don't understand why that would even get her into trouble honestly, it's her property and all isn't it? Why would she be prohibited to sell it? I know Filch wasn't too fond of the map, but all he did was confiscate it if I remember correctly. I'm just a bit confused about that fact.

Overall I like this start. :) I'm interested to know what happens next!

I really liked this! It's really different and I don't think I've ever read anything like it before on the archives, I think you made Lily to be pretty funny what with her butterfly farm and yoga class >.< I also think you did the angry parent thing perfectly, I can't wait to see what happens in the next chapter! :D
