Coffee may be taking over now, but do take into account the fact that the Battle of Hogwarts took place around June 1998 and that the magical population is rather 'traditional' and the caracters are never depicted drinking coffee by JKR. Be that as it may, I may have got carried away by stereotype here, so I do apologize for any offense you might have taken for my "tea comment". None was intended.

Author's Response: I never take offence at a review, unless it gets personal, and that hasn't happened yet. I think the problem you are having is letting go of canon. Try to separate but not distance fanfiction from JKRfiction. I hope that makes sense.

Oh, I just loved it! I'm rating it 9 out of 10 (this rating stands for the whole ff, not just this chapter) and I'm taking that point off only because some Americanisms like "numbnuts" and the fact that they are all British but you depict them drinking coffee a lot, when sense would pont out that it should be tea. On the whole, I think there were some really great parts (for example, making Victoire be born on the anniversary of the Battle of Hogwarts, thus explaining her name and the bet between Fred and George. I enjoyed it an awful lot. Thanks!

Author's Response: Thank you! The word you pointed out may be an Americanism, but we do use it in the mother country. Tea drinking is not popular amongst the younger generations these days. Coffee is takin' over.

I didn't decide that Victoire would be born on the anniversary of the battle. JKR did that.

Fred and George's bet made me cry my heart out. Seriously, I just had to put my glasses down, bury my face in my hands and cry for a couple of minutes. I'm only just camlming down. What a touching moment. Congratulations!

(also, as a comment, don't you think all the double marriage thing is a bit rushed? I mean, it took like 7 years till Harry and Ginny had James so I would have thought that maybe their marriage would have taken at least 2 or 3 years after the Battle of Hogwarts. Not criticising, just sharing my view on the matter)

The weddings were meant to be 2 years later, that gives Ginny time for a Quidditch career, before James comes along.

My last review was for 12 chapters and this one is for the whole story..

other than a few odd partials and the odd grammer/spelling mistake, it is a supurbly thought out and wrote story..

i enjoyed it from chapter 1 to chapter 25 and to be honest wish it was another 25 chapters long(can't be too greedy now :) ) ..

i hope to see more from you and this is the only story to make it to my fav storys and will be saved for later rereading :)

All in all it was a well written story. I found it very entertaining. You may disagree with some of the decisions the characters make, but it's your story so that means you decide what they should do and it's a good story. I enjoyed reading it.

Again I don't understand Hermione. She spent weeks crying because of Ron's departure, and suddenly she forgot all about him. Isn't it Ginny she's mad at?

Anyway once again, great writing, the story is very well written, wether you agree with the plot or not.

I'm not really sure I understand Hermione's motive for leaving the Burrow. She s´should by now understand the Weasley temper, especially Ginny's. And even if she gets surprised she to me at least seems very head-strong and should be able to tell Ginny her mind, instead of just leaving.

But other than that, very well written and I look forward to reading the next chapter.

excellent fic, I'm glad you included some action and somewhat dark magic wizards to switch up the moods .. I have to admit I didn't enjoy the bit with Robbie but understand it all the same as it added another dimension to the story and kept it from becoming stale .. By the end I was close to tears, gahh harry and Ginny are the best! Congrats

Just wanted to thank you for not only writing this story but for completing it. It was very well written and your updates were timely. I've read an untold number of stories written on this site and the greatest disappointment is unfinished stories. Please continue with your writing and I look forward to see new ones from you in the future. ;-)

Author's Response: Thank you for your kind words. I absolutely agree with you about unfinished stories. I find it very annoying and frustrating. My remedy, if I find a story that hasn't been updated for, say five years, (there are a couple in my favourites list) is to finish it myself. Of course, I can never post them for others to read. HPFF would rightly take a dim view of that.
I am continuing to write and the first episode of my next one is in validation now.

Author's Response: As I said to H4NA in response to a previous review, I have been toying with the idea of a one-shot sequel. There is something I wold like to fix, but I have my doubts as to whether I can make it work. I've started drafting and blocking it out. At this point in time my answer has to be, I don't know if there will be a sequel. I'm glad you enjoyed this one though.

OMG use the pond! That's hysterical :) and perfect that you ended the chapter with it too. You captured Rita Skeeter perfectly - she is a cow. Prof McGonagall's comments were a hoot - overall this was a very funny chapter. And of course so well written.

There were so many things I liked about this one. Kreacher and the sledgehammer was brilliant idea!

The talk that Ginny had with her dad was very touching and Ron saying he could handle Hermione made me laugh right out loud.
