Review #27, by Elleinad Her Lightning

30th December 2012:
This story. I'm at a loss of words to describe it! Its so amazingly sad and so terribly sweet. I CAN'T get enough!

Author's Response: Elleinad,

Your description is spot on... "amazingly sad and terribly sweet." Thank you so much! I must agree with the 'terrible' because these two truly have gone through terrible times. I wanted it to also be sweet in that they could, but they should not just jump in so fast. They are adults and know better than that.

The next chapter will be in queue as soon as the chapter for my Delilah story comes up. There is only one chapter of any story allowed in the queue at a time. So, I'm just waiting for that story to come up and then I'll post to this one. There will actually be 2 more chapters. They are completely written, just waiting for the queue, so do look for it in the next few days.

Thanks so much for your reviews. I hope you come back to enjoy the final chaps as we find out what happens to them and Rose.

With much appreciation,
Dark Whisper

Review #29, by CharlotteMcPherson Her Lightning

11th December 2012:
Really beautiful it's sad that there is only one more chapter, your doing great with the no dialogue challenge, I was expecting a very cheesy story but this is totally different:)

Author's Response: Charlotte,
Thank you so much for your review. I'm sorry it has taken so long to respond, I've been terribly busy and I wanted to take my time with yours because of your last review on my Delilah story.

I'm happy to read that it was not what you expected. :) There is one last chapter that is ready when the queue re-opens. It probably should be 2 more chapters, but I squished it all into one. I might change that when the time comes. ;)

Anyway, your comments are very appreciated. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Review #30, by MsJacksonMalfoyMellark Her Lightning

10th December 2012:
Again...absolutely speechless. You have written this story so well. Even without speech, there's so much you can do without it. It's unbelievable. I just can't wait to see what happens in the next chapter.

PS. Draco and Hermione. So sweet and intense at the same time. :)

Author's Response: MsJacksonMalfoyMellark,

Oh, thank you so much for your review of this chapter. :) We see what Hermione has been going through and when they came together, they both had to stop and think about what they were doing.

Writing without speech is a bit tough because you really have to get into their heads and think for them and also think of other ways to communicate... a touch, a look, a nod. It is actually kind of fun and interesting to see what comes of it.

These two are definitely intense and the next chapter has been written. Currently, the queue is closed for staff vacation, but when it comes back up, I will post it.

Thanks so much for your kind comments.

Merry Christmas to you... :)

As soon as the queue re-opens, I will post it.

Thanks so much for reviewing!

Merry Christmas to you...

Review #32, by UndercoverFan Her Lightning

8th December 2012:
This is just...fantastic. Such an amazing feat, writing a story with no dialogue but able to convey everything emotion, feeling, conversation, and thought with ease. Jealousy aside, I am really humbled and inspiried by this beautiful piece of work. It's a shame you are extremely busy because I would give my cat away to co-write with you, and I love my cat like she was my daughter. I sincerely can't wait for the next chapter!

Author's Response: UndercoverFan,
First, my apologies for taking so long to respond. I've been so very busy these days.

Anyway, thank you so much for your wonderful compliments about this story and especially the comment about writing no dialogue. It has been a fun challenge to come up with different ways of communicating and conveying what they are feeling and saying without actually saying it. :)

It is wonderful to read that I inspire anyone to do anything. LOL! :D It is so sweet of you to say that.

And yes, I have no time and your comment about your cat made me laugh out loud. Please keep poor little kitty and make sure you don't say anything like that out loud. You might hurt her feelings. :)

The next chapter has been written, but I must wait until the queue re-opens on the 30th to post it. So be on the lookout... I hope you come back for the final chapter.

Thank you, sincerely, for your wonderful review and comments on my writing. It truly means so much...

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Absolutely amazing! I don't know how you do it!! Wonderfully written! Finish it up :)

P.S. I have a question to ask of you--i posted a review in chapter one of Delilah for you! Once again, you are a very talented writer, and update this again soon! :)

Author's Response: MadiMalfoy,

Thank you! The final chapter is complete, but must wait until the queue re-opens.

I answered your question awhile ago. Hope you got it.

Thanks so much for your review. It is so much appreciated and I hope you come back for the emotional finish.

Review #34, by Emma_Felton4Ever Her Lightning

7th December 2012:
aww damn they did "that" haha yea but then again...? I think I know why they did this... k maybe not. care to explain? love your story i swear "actions speak louder than words" is so true!

Author's Response: Emma Felton4Ever,

Ah, yes... they stopped and for good reason. They were both caught up in the heat of the moment, but these are adults that know that it is never good to lose your head and jump into something without thinking it through. It was better for them to stop and just hold each other instead. And, I thought it would be more touching that way.

You will find out what happens in the next chapter soon. It has been written, but I cannot post it yet because of the queue closure for staff vacation. As soon as it opens, I will post the end... I think you will like it. *winks*

And I agree as well... actions speak louder than words. :)

Review #35, by Gin-gin06 His Release

7th December 2012:
Hey Dark Whisper! The second chapter was just
as beautiful and poetic as the first. I absolutely
love the book burning part. You write these two
wonderful characters so true to formand so
well that even Hermione destroying books didnt
seem off. Is there a book that says grieiving is
a grievers fault? Because thats messed up.

I cant wait for the last installment! And have
you updated on FictionCentral? That furst
chapter was amazing:)

Much love,
Gin-gin

Author's Response: Gin-gin,

Poetic? Thank you! And book burning for Hermione? Well, I suppose she would know what trash was when she read it. Her disappointment is what led her to do it.

I can't really say that there is a book out there that says that for certain, but I bet there is. I bet there is someone out there that would say it was the fault of the griever for holding on too long and yes, that is really messed up... and trash to burn.

The last chap turned out to be so long that it turned into two chapters. They are fully written. I'm just waiting for my Delilah story to post and then I'll post to this one. (One chap in the queue at a time, you know).

And... FictionCentral. I have not had time to do anything with that story. It seems not many are even reading on that site right now. I might go back and finish, but you might be the only one to read it. LOL! Thank you for the compliment and the reminder.

I hope you come back for more of this sad, short story. You are so very encouraging.

Thank you!

This is one of the most beautiful stories I've read. A fathers pain of losing his son. There are no words. Well done(Also, you've successfully made me cry my little eyes out.) 10/10

Author's Response: DracoLove4,
Oh, thank you for saying that about my story. It really is lovely and I thank you so very much.

This one is very sad (as most of my writings are) and I'm glad you told me about your tears. It is a compliment to me as a writer that I was able to evoke such emotion in a reader.

And your generous 10/10? Thank you!

More will be posted (possibly tonight or tomorrow). It is just waiting validation.

I hope you return for more. *sends tissue*

2nd December 2012:
you are a very mature writer to write such sad stories without making them cheesy, i love it, your so good at no dialogue

Author's Response: Charlotte,

Thank you! :) Your words are so nice and very much a compliment. I hope it doesn't get cheesy as these two will come together soon. LOL! XD

And 'no dialogue' is fun to work out, but definately a challenge.

I'm going to be writing a bit about how they already really know each other, but there are still things to learn... which helps in their understanding each other without speaking.

More to come very soon of this very sad story.
Thanks for commenting...

Review #40, by MadiMalfoy His Release

2nd December 2012:
Hello again! Gosh, I wish I could write half as well as you can! Your perfect connection between the rain and their grief. Without dialogue it almost makes it more personal as it lets us connect as readers emotionally better. Keep updating quickly! :) (On a side note, I left you a review in Chapter 1 of Delilah's Black Book of Poems for something I wanted to ask you) :)

Author's Response: MadiMalfoy,
Hello, again to you. :) I'm trying to get through my reviews. I'm afraid I don't get much done these days. Sorry for the long delay.

Anyway, thank you so much for your review of this chapter. You give me such a nice compliment and I'm so glad that you like the rain connection and it does get very personal.

The last chapter has been written, but must wait for the queue to re-open on the 30th or so.

As you can see I have no time to co-write, but it is so nice of you to ask.

Best wishes on your writing...

Review #42, by BKL8008 His Rain

2nd December 2012:
Normally, I would have RUN from something like this, but the banner and description drew me in. I very much like the idea of no dialog, although I certainly could do it. This is well written, too, which is SO very refreshing. I actually feel Draco's pain sitting at the fire, burning the letters. Such a powerful image. I love the ring as well. Nicely done!

Author's Response: BKL8008,

Well, I am so happy that you took a chance on my story and didn't run far, far away. :D

That banner turned out so beautifully that my jaw dropped at Draco's face when I first saw it. It was absolutely perfect for depicting his grief and all credit goes out to the artist at TDA. I'm in awe of their talents.

Thank you so much for your comments regarding my writing. Thank you. And I will admit, the idea of Draco burning the letters actually came from an in-law who confessed that when she lost her husband, it was the sympathy cards that were the most difficult to get through. ;(

Thank you so very much for your wonderful compliments and for taking the time to Review.

Review #43, by Elleinad His Rain

1st December 2012:
Wow. Once again you leave me in stunned mental silence. This is very good and i must sincerly request more in a hurry! I love how strained Draco and Herminioe's relationship is and how low her opinion of him is. I must admit I absolutly detest stories in which things change in such an overnight way. I know it sometimes happens that way in life but much less often then it is portrayed in books and such. Anyway to sum up I love it and you and must insist you write more at once!

Author's Response: Elleinad,

Well, thank you so much for your review. I'm so glad that you liked this first chapter. I agree that some stories have them together seemingly too soon, but in this one you'll just have to come back and read what happens. ;)

I hope you come back for more as the 3rd chapter is about to come up into the queue. There is a little bit of suspense in it and things don't turn out how most people might think it would. A slight twist perhaps?

Anyway, thank you so much for taking the time to review. Your kind words are much appreciated.

Review #44, by Gin_gin06 His Rain

25th November 2012:
Dark Whisper, I'm waiting for it to storm over me while I bawl my eyes out so I can prove what I've wished all along, a witch, but sadly it still isn't.

This was so heartwrenching! :( And without any dialouge! This was an amazing piece, dark, sad peice, but nevertheless amazing!

Kudos to you for once again getting an emotional response out of me for the millionth time! And you now have the honor of making me cry while reading the summary. I don't think any one's ever done that to any one!

I LOVED what you did with the emotional-based magic. Your imagination continues to blow me away each time I read your work. i can only hope that my writing ca nbe half as good as yours someday. I wonder what the weather would do if a wizard was as happy as he could ever be. A shooting star perhaps, or the Northern Lights?

Why didn't Ron's portrait work? I wonder what a Portrait Ron would be like since he wouldn't be able to eat real food?

Well, I'm going to finish this review by saying that you are one of the top writers the universe, and I would read your work everyday if i could. Thank you for putting your work on the WWW (The World Wide Web, not Weasley's Wizarding Wheezes ;P )

Much love,
Gin-gin

Author's Response: Gin-gin,

Well, firstly, I apologize for taking so long to respond to your awesome review. Your review is so creative and insightful that I had to wait to really think about what I wanted to say. And then funerals and the holidays sped by and I finally have the time to respond. Honestly, it is a credit for your wonderful review that rendered me speechless.

Alas, when I cry, it does not rain either, as I am as Muggle as Hermione's mother. XD I loved your comment. You are so thoughtful.

And well, you know by now that I love the dark and sad stories. I love reading and writing them because I love to really truly feel emotions. As I watch some television shows I often think they lack any real emotion. Perhaps that's why I love it so much.

Did I really make you cry at the summary? Oh, my... Summaries are difficult to really get the true tone of stories in such a small space and still draw readers to it. Your words are a compliment to me, truly.

A shooting star? Northern Lights? Why didn't I think of that? You have a true writer's imagination and I LOVE it. Your talent shows even in a Review. You inspire me, deary. What wonderful, beautiful ideas in your head.

Yes, Ron's portrait didn't wake because they did not have food. LOL! Your comment made me really laugh at that. Hahaha! All seriousness though... I have not written a reason, only that some of them never wake. Perhaps it is because he is truly at peace, but I don't know. ;(

From my heart, I thank you for every word. You really know how to make me feel like a real author and putting my stories on this site gives me the confidence to eventually try to publish someday. My heart thanks you.

Much love to you, you talented, creative writer you...

Review #45, by Charlotte McPherson His Rain

19th November 2012:
Well what can I say, this is amazing and your doing a
wonderful job on no dialogue but I wonder how it will come
out for the next chapter since dialogue only seems
necessary but this is an extraordinary piece of writing and
you have a creative brain, the words and Description was
done very well, love the rain idea, was amazing and sad
about Scorpios and rose though, great so far

Author's Response: Charlotte,
Wow... thank you for your wonderful review of my sad story. The next chapter will probably be coming up in the next few days (waiting validation) and you will see that much happens with no dialogue... looks, touches, actions...

You give me many wonderful compliments and I thank you so much. I'm glad that you liked the rain being linked to their emotions. More to come with that aspect of things.

Yes, it is terribly sad about Rose and Scorpius as well... poor Rose. I tried to think of what would be so terrible that would have Draco be unable to speak and well, losing his son would be an unspeakable tragedy. ;(

Thank you so much for your kind review. More to come soon...

Review #46, by MsJacksonMalfoyMellark His Rain

18th November 2012:
I really enjoyed reading this one-shot. I've not read anything like this, honest. It's upsetting that Hermione and Draco had both lost someone very close to them, though. This was really good. Seriously, because I don't think I could create a story without speech contained, I need to speech. :)

Author's Response: MsJacksonMalfoyMellark,

Thank you for leaving a review. :) I'm so glad that you took a chance on this very sad story, but I must say that this is not a one-shot. There is more to come and I'm going to guess probably 3, maybe 4 chapters of no speech. I will be posting the next chapter today (but there is currently a 4 day wait on validation).

I hope you come back for more as these two come together to comfort one another. There is more to communication than just speech. ;) There are looks, nodding, and lots and lots of body language and of course it takes two people that know each other so well to communicate without speaking at all. What will these two do to comfort each other without words? Hmm... :)

Thanks so much for your kind words. I hope you come back for more.

Sincerely,

Review #50, by Sinead (romance4ever) His Rain

16th November 2012:
My god...Dark whisper you never fail . You captured his grief and what any parent would go through as someone's child's life was cut short. I'm not sure why I felt a personal connection maybe it was just your writing but it was so heart wrenching and the symbol of the rain was magnificent as it symbolises tears, you've got a symbol of dark clouds heavy rain pouring heavy for me it reminded me of a clouded broken heart pouring with pain and crying in its own right. Then you brought in Hermione and her willing to be strong but you can see her pleading with rons picture to talk to comfort her to bring her closer after loosing her own daughter to heartbreak she relates but alas her daughter was to far gone and my heart pleads that'll shell find some way back to Hermione . But draco returns to Hermione and loosely I use that word because I feel you've created a before for them but have not yet let us in on the plan . Thank you for having the heart and sense to write something so beautifully honest and heartfelt . Bravo and again you've created a wonderful story . Please continue

Author's Response: Sinead,

My dear, please accept my apologies at not responding to your review in a timely manner. Sometimes reviews come along that I want to take my time with and really think about what I want to say. Yours is one of those brilliant reviews. Thank you so much.

I can tell from your words that you really felt his sorrow and understand the deep connection with the dark clouds and the pouring rain as a heart pours out grief.

I'm glad that you mentioned Hermione's heartbreak as well, as this story is about them both, not just Draco.

You will see what happens to Rose in the next coming chapters.

You've really captured what I was going for and I appreciate your words because it tells me that as an author, I must be doing something correct. This site is good practice for me as I will eventually (hopefully) write original fiction and try to be published someday.

Thank you so much for your feedback as I write this emotional piece.

Again, please forgive me for not responding more timely. The holidays and two funerals in between has been a whirlwind and I'm just now able to respond to your words.

I will be posting a new chapter to this story as soon as I can. It is written, but I can only post one chapter in the queue at a time. I do hope you come back for more.

My sincerest thanks for your understanding.
Sincerely,
Dark Whisper
