Narcissa's characterization is especially appealing. usually she is portrayed as more of a victim, but this version of her has a backbone and an opinion to match. i love it! wonderful job on this so far. keep up the amazing work!

Absolutely beautiful! I love the story and I'm dying to find out what will happen in due course. I like your writing style - jumping from one place and time to another keeps the reader alert and interested.

The way you described the love between Lucius and Narcissa was breathtaking, it almost made me cry :) I'm just wondering why I haven't read your stories earlier, this one at least seems to be amazing and something different than many Dramiones.

I'm so glad you liked the time-line jumping. Honestly, that actually started because I wanted a good 'mini-prologue' for Hermione leaving Azkaban in tears. It seemed to fit well and the jumping around in time a bit just felt right with this story. I am really glad that it went over well. Sometimes time jumping can be a turnoff and get confusing, so I tried to keep it short. Anyway... thank you for mentioning it. I'm thrilled to hear that it turned out well. Yeah! :)

Yes... Lucius and Narcissa's love at their end... I couldn't help myself. I wanted Lucius to be truly sorry for the way their lives turned out and wanted to portray a tragedy when it came down to what mattered in their lives. *sniffs*

Oh, thank you so very much! I'm glad you liked it and thought Draco's change was believable. That can be very difficult to manage and keep canon folks happy. LOL!

He went through a lot in prison and had a lot of time to think things through... his parent's deaths, the neglect and betrayal from his closest friends, lonliness, etc... and she was there for him and kept coming back. Even someone as hard and proud as Draco was effected by her persistance and especially her selfless kindness.

I applaud you again for being a simply amzing writer!! I loved this short story. It was powerful and intriguing and a hint of mystery to what would happen. If you would have asked me how I thought this chapter was going to end I would not have guess what you wrote. I loved it.

My heart was breaking for Draco as he searched for her and I had tries in my eyes when I thought it was too late for him to save her memory. I was scared she was going to get taken by those horrible men. for once I bet he was glad everyone was afraid of his father. It was a powerful moment when he finally burned the dining room table. I was rooting for him. I think he should torch the whole place but it is his ancestrial home so that counts for something. When Hermione finally woke and she remembered loving him I thought I would burst with happiness! It was a beautiful moment.

The kiss. what else is there to say about it. It was perfect and beautiful and about-time it happened. (I know it happened before but that was a sad good bye kiss) This was a happy-I-get-to-spend-the-rest-of-my-life-with-you-kiss.

I never would have guessed that the warden was behind Draco's change in sentencing. He truly was a goood man.

Gosh, this was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! I sad it is over but happy with the ending! Great job, Great Story!! You have done it again!! Beautiful!!

My apologies for taking so long to respond. I've been crazy busy with life then I had to go out of town for awhile and was not able to get online. You know how life gets in the way.

I've been thinking about burning that table in several of my stories, but I thought it would fit best in this story to help her wake up and pull her out of the potion and stop her memory loss. I thought about having him torch the place too (LOL), but it is "Malfoy Manor" and it probably is kind of important for them to be the 'king and queen' of it. XD

Ah, yes... It was the Warden! Dun dun dun dahn! Hahaha. I thought that he would be a good tie in at the end and a great help at explaining how the mystery gets solved.

Aww I really enjoyed reading this! It was dark and tragic yet oh so sweet. I love how Hermione's visits escalated the closer they got to his release, and how she would read the Prophet to him and brush his hair. Such kindness and love omagahh :') I'm happy that all is well in the end for them. Some parts of the dialogue seemed the tiniest bit OOC, but that's the only thing I could pinpoint. You did a wonderful job with this, thank you for sharing!

Hello Dear Friend,
Wow, it sums a huge deal up for this story, i was totally enthralled from chapter one. You managed to keep it away from my beau of a story. It was different it was a a bundle of emotions and feelings that fell into place like a river. I describe it as a river cause it started of a little stream a rush of water and then met the sea, the sea symbolism being freedom, rebirth and desires all falling into one. You managed to create this for this pair all over again a steady flow at the start a rush of emotions and finally joining together... Thank you for 3 amazing chapter. Yet again words cannot describe your talent and thank and i cant wait for update on the other but this was a worthy filler until that comes

Initially, I had her showing up at his door with an apple pie so that he couldn't possibly look at her with hatred as she feared. But then I thought readers would gasp and roll their eyes and say... "All that and all we got was her with an apple pie?! That's the most boring thing ever!"

And so I went ahead and wrote the witch in and had her losing only a small part of her memory. LOL! It was a bit more exciting than just showing up with pie.

I'm not really even sure how I came up with the idea of this plot. It was a challenge on the forums by one of my reviewers of my Delilah story. I was lucky to get such a cool spell - Obliviate! :)

Your writing is so beautiful. I didn't realize you are the same author that writes Delilah's Black Book of Poems. After realizing that, I feel like you have a very distinct writing style. Please tell me you want to go into writing professionally. I would love to indulge in any of your stories. You speak of love so passionate that one can only imagine what that would feel like. In The Winds of Azkaban, I am reminded of an older Romeo and Juliet. Draco is now racing against the clock to save his love's memory. The whole story is so beautiful. Yes, it's me... the author of DBBP taking on challenge stories that I do not have time to write. :P I know that it is probably good for me to do small projects outside of DBBP, but they soak up time that I already don't have.

It is so funny that you mention my writing style because someone said that to me long ago... before I knew that I had a 'style'. LOL! They actually had to point it out to me. Shows you how much I know about writing. Now that I have written so much, I can tell now that I do have one, but its just really strange to think of it because I don't do it purposefully, you know? My sentences just come out just as my thoughts would. It's hard to explain, but I can say that it is not exactly intentional. And it probably isn't proper English sentence structure. (too many ...'s)LOL! Oh, well.

It makes me so happy that you like this story... this race against time / memory plotline. I'm such a hopeless romantic.

The last chapter is in the validation queue (currently 5 day wait). It was difficult to write because I didn't want it to be too predictable or boring and I wanted to really make it tie into the 1st two chapters.

I'm probably most proud of "Delilah" for its depth, but I really loved writing "A Man Barely Breathing" because some of what Draco felt, I felt myself, so that one is really close to home. But I love the first chapter of "Disappear with Me" because of the description of him as a boy in that magical garden. But I love the plot of "Winds of Azkaban." XD

I truly have enjoyed writing these wonderful characters. I wish I got paid to write. It is a dream unfulfilled, I'm afraid.

But truly, thank you so much for seeking out my other stories. That means so much to me and puts a smile on my face.

Someone once asked me if I could see these two with someone else. My first reaction was... no, not really. But then I back-tracked and said... yes, but they would never be truly happy. You know, tragically 'miss' the other... always. I'm such a magnet to sad stories. Oh, well.

I have so many stories in my head about these two... but I have to refrain myself or none of them would ever get finished. :P
