all i can say is WOW. this is still THE BEST h/hr fanfic to exist. i keep re-reading it and i get excited everytime because of how good it is! i really hope that its non where near from being over! i have a feeling hermione is starting to like harry, too :) i cant wait for the next chapter!

Can I just say I am in love with your Ron? He is the best guy ever in this story. In the books he kinda annoys me, I don't know why there's just something about him that isn't right, the way he abandons Harry in 4th year and then in the 7th book ect... But this Ron, he is the best friend you could ever have! When he hugged Harry I was just sat there like "omgosh, why is he so cute?!?" love your story! I'm only here so far but I promise I'll keep on! ;)

Author's Response: Eee, thank you so much! I actually really enjoyed the Ron in the books, his character had so much depth, but I definitely see where you're coming from! I hated him a little bit too :3 But in a lot of HHr fics, and just fics in general, I've noticed how people don't really give Ron the credit he deserves, how he's sort of poorly written, and I just really wanted to make him prominent and an all-around good guy. So, thanks! :D And take your time, you've got quite a bit to go!

I don't know what to say anymore! I feel like everytime I review it is totally cleche! But I will continue to do it anyway ;) This chapter had so many AMAZING things in it. I love that after seeing Hermione's feelings through Harry that we get them firsthand. They needed to have that talk more than either one of them can ever understand because now they can truely start to connect and trust eachother. The wand thing really was sweet!! I am glad Harry got that chance to care for her. I know it always makes me forget my problems when I can help someone else overcome theirs. The wait for that chapter was indeed long but with school now I can understand why it takes that long. Plus genius isn't born over night ;) Trust me I know its hard to balance all of the tasks but I will be here waiting for the next chapter. Whether it's a day, two or weeks :D GREAT JOB AGAIN!

Thank you so much for writing a chapter from Hermoine`s POV.And now for the review...It was awesome..I mean simply awesome...After (what seems like a long time) we finally had a Harry-Hermoine chat. It was beautiful , simple which made it even better, cos you see it`s very difficult to simplify things..and you`ve done a remarkably fine job.I must say I`m running out of adjectives to describe this chapter. The only thing wrong with the chapter was the undeniably long wait..as usual the chapter was worth the wait. And so the wait for the next chapter begins...!!!

But I'm glad you thought it was worth it :) I really wanted to keep it minimal, without any big arguing or super-lovey-dovey moments or anything, but still make it heart felt enough to where they both got what they needed to across and did it in a way that showed they (especially Hermione) were finally opening up. Hey! I was reading your story before but some things changed and I simply didn't have time to read it anymore. I have one simple question - as i don't have time to read everything (got to chapter 10). Inform me as I want to restart reading it but want to make sure it's still worth it.

Who died or what happened in the last 2 chapters, please?

Author's Response: Well first of all thanks for coming back :3 I'll give you the entire rundown from chapter 11!

Ginny told Harry he had to get Hermione something nice for her birthday and she offered him an old magical locket that she didn't use that cycled through ten pictures. They got back to Hogwarts, yadda yadda yadda. Harry figured out that Hermione was going to be Voldemort's next target and he didn't want to tell her but Ron convinced him to. She took it well, or so he thought. Long story short, Hermione has this weird complex where she pushes her own feelings and thoughts aside in lieu of Harry's for reasons unknown; she just does. And it's self-destructive. Hermione does a little soul searching and reveals this problem, and later in the chapter (15) Harry tells her she's sorry for always putting her in compromising positions and Hermione thinks things could be different. Then it's her birthday and Harry gives her the locket and she loves it (I'd recommend reading the descriptions of the pictures in that chapter!). Then in chapter 17 Ron gives a little back story so I'd recommend reading that too. We also bring Luna into the story. Next we find out that Harry's been being a total asshole to Hermione for no reason and none of the teachers are allowing him Occlumency lessons. He then cuts off things with Hermione because he sees that he's being a total asshole. We then go back to the beginning of the previous chapter and get everything form Hermione's POV. We discover that she hides her hurt from him and goes to abandoned classes to cry and she thinks Harry hates her. Ron confronts her about it and convinces her to talk to him but like I said, he ends things with her but she thinks he has gotten sick of her. In chapter 20 Ron talks to Harry about what he and Hermione talked about in the classroom and we find out what happened back in fifth year with the window (read that too - it's important!). Harry feels awful but doesn't fix things with Hermione. More crap happens that isn't really important, except that we find out Snape and McGonagall need to know something from Harry and Hermione that neither of them know about, but it basically sends Harry over the edge and he decides to never go to sleep and study Occlumency by himself. He stays awake for five days before Hermione finally starts talking to him again and gets him to sleep and they hash things out and become friends again. Hermione messes with him and tells him she used to like him when she really didn't and Harry reveals that he used to actually have a crush on her. She feels bad and gives him a pity kiss. Harry doesn't care. More yadda yadda yadda, Ron and Luna start going out, Hermione helps Harry with Occlumency, everything is good. Then Hermione's parents get killed by Death Eaters. She completely shuts down. Dumbledore wants Harry to go home to the funeral with her and he agrees. They meet her Godmother, Lucille Grant, and her Godsister, Cameron. Lucille is a super nice Scottish woman and Cameron doesn't like Harry because of all the crap he put Hermione through over the years. She basically convinces him to stop talking to her again. More stuff happens where Harry has to take care of Hermione, something she isn't used to, and at the funeral she has an emotional breakdown. Later that night Harry has to bring her out of a panic attack and sit with her while she pukes all night.

Obviously, this is concise, so if you're still interested, I promise actually reading the story is more interesting than what was described here :) But again, thanks for coming back!

I love this story! I read your response to potterfan's review and i DEFINITELY think you need to write some prequels and a sequel! I just love this story so much that I think the others would be great!

Author's Response: I was actually thinking, by the end of the story (if I do my job right :P) you guys should have questions or things you might be curious about, like what happened next or what did Harry/Hermione go through to make them do/say that, so I thought I'd maybe take some requests? Like if you wanted me to actually write out how they ended up getting detention from Snape, I would do it! I was already going to write little tidbits here and there, so if anyone's interested in it, we'll give it a shot!

I love the way you wrote this chapter! I can't wait until the next one comes. The way You had Harry handle hermiones panic attack and breakdown was great! It shows how much he really cares about her and how good he knows her! I'm hanging off a cliff waiting for what happens next!
