Your depictions of these characters have me thinking about how hard it would have been for Sirius and Remus when Lily married James. Like, I've never really seen it this way.

That was just amazing. Seriously, I am astounded. Sirius having a thing for James explains so much! Remus having a thing for Lily but not saying anything, icing on the cake. Just, wow. And it all being from Remus' point of view gives it that extra mile.

I love moony eyes the best Remus/Lily story I've read :D i really want to write a Remus/Lily story i was wondering if you could give me some tips please? :S xD I'm worried that i won't get the characters personality right.. also when are you going to add a new chapter? :D

Author's Response: Well what's in the works right now is a Moony Eyes Christmas Special, and the first chapter of that should be showing up any day now. And thank you for the compliments! :)
As for pointers, the best advice I can give you is to just read the HP books with sections on the characters you want to write again and again. Get to the point where you know how they would act in various situations, and then it's up to you to make up the situations! :D Good luck on your story! Yay! You updated! I don't think that was boring at all, it was definitely a filler chapter but I quite enjoyed it. Especially the last bit from Remus' pov! He needs a hug!

Your writing really is wonderful! Again, I'm amazed at how believable the growing relationship between James and Lily is coming about. It's very subtle and realistic, I just feel so bad for Remus though! He is far too good of a friend! He doesn't know that Lily thinks he's gay right? I wonder how he'll react when he finds out. As much as I love the way you've written Lily and James together I do want to see a bit more between Remus and Lily before it's too late. Also, what's up with Kelsey? Does she have a thing for James or is she just being protective of him as his friend and captain? Either way I liked seeing her confront Lily so good job with that too!

Another thing that I'm loving is how you're developing Severus and how he's slowly getting more and more mixed up with the death eaters! This is also very realistic to me. I really don't know how you're doing it but somehow in only 10 chapters you've managed to develop several very believable complex plot devices that feel very true to the characters involved and that don't feel at all rushed. Plus, on top of everything else you've also introduced multiple original characters that are actually likable, it's very impressive and makes for a really fun read!

Please update again soon, I can't wait to see where you go from here and the Christmas special sounds entertaining as well :) Keep up the fantastic work!!

Ah! Well, I can hardly wait for the next chapter. This is killing me! I wish I had the ability to write something like this, where a few characters know something that the others don't that they really SHOULD know, and... yeah. I'm dying, as I've said. I also really love how you show Lily being annoyed and confused and feeling like she ruined everything between her and Remus. I think that's exactly what she would've thought. Aww, this was sweet. I like that Lily is finally getting to see the (slightly) less obnoxious side of James.

Childlike James in his semi-conscious state was quite adorable. It was a great way for Lily to "find out that Remus is gay". I just love all the tangled mess that is this story. So much is going on and Remus is really the only one who knows it all.

I'm excited that Peter got himself a girlfriend. Good on you, Peter! I can see why though if he looks like that character image you posted of him a few chapters back. I'd date him :) (Speaking of chapter images, I vote for B. Unless you have a picture of Salt, then I want to see it :))

I liked your Quidditch segment and would love to see more of Kelsey. She seems fun. Ooh...her and Maddie could be an awesome couple. Then James and Sirius could hook up, leaving Remus free to go after Lily again. And Peter can stick with Mary and not betray his friends, and everyone can be happy. Well, except Snape, but that poor guy is never happy.

Also, I loved Maddie's line: "Who knows? Maybe it's fate. Maybe the world will be the better because of it."

Like, maybe Lily and James will get married and give birth to the future saviour of the wizarding world, like that? Step aside, Trelawney, Maddie's coming to town!


And I've now read all of your chapters, which means that you should write more, because I love your story and am a bit of an impatient person :P I hope your internship is going well!

Author's Response: I do indeed have a picture of Salt ;) He's quite hunky, let me tell ya! I've gotten a majority of votes for extra main characters, so since I have an extra each for Remus, Sirius, Peter, Lily, and Maddie I'll do those first. After that (if the story hasn't ended yet) I'll go onto the minor characters and I promise that Salt will be the first!
