I loved sirius in this chapter and i really want to know what happens at the party!!! Ivan gives me a weird vibe and i wonder what's going to happen next *cue suspenseful music*

Gah! Oh my goodness gracious my love. Yet another fabulous chapter from one of the best authors ever! :D

Seriously, I only go on here about once a week or so now and check everything and when I saw you'd updated and it was a new chapter, I just about died from happiness.

It's bloody amazing. I love that you can tell she's developing some sort of attraction to Siruis whether or not she can admit it to herself. And then you through a double bomb shell in there. Not only is her mom engaged, but she's pregnant, with twins! Definitely didn't see that one coming! Glad he's a wizard and Elaina didn't ruin something, though it would have been entertaining. Gahh. Poor Elaina. I don't know what I would do in that situation. I mean you have to be happy for your mom being happy, but then it's like you're being completely replaced. Your mom is getting married and their having not just one, but two babies? I would freak out and I'm surprised at how well she held it together.

Okay, you seriously are a fantastic writer and I'm in love with your story, as I've said time and time and I'll say time and time again. I love the characters you've created and I absolutely love this plot. You have a gift my dear, use it! :) I can't wait for the next update, I'll be patiently awaiting it. S2

Arrrghhh!!! This was so good!!! I loved this entry, please, please keep updating!! I really like how close Sirius and Elaina are getting, they're really good together, really witty and I hope they become good friends (or maybe something more.?? ;) )
And... OMG ELAINA'S MUM?! What's going on?! Poor Elaina, I'm not sure I like the sound of her mum's fiancé either... :(

Author's Response: Thank you very much! I plan on updating in either December (if I decide to try my hand at NaNoWriMo again) or November (if I don't).

No promises on that, though. I would use this story for the writing challenge, but I think that's sort of cheating haha. So I'm going with an original plot that has been floating around in my head for about two or three years now. O.O Time to do something with it!

I must say that I absolutely love/adore/worship your story! I've been following it for a while and I thought it was about time I left you a little review to encourage writing xD anyhoot, I love your characters especially elaina she's such an interesting one! And I love your portrayal of all the other pre-existing characters. I typically dont read marauder era stories but yours is so unique how could i not?! I'm excited to see how the plot unravels! I'm sorry to hear about your laptop by the way, I would be lost without mine so I empathize :( I can't wait to read more, keep up the good work!!

Author's Response: Thanks, hun! It always makes me feel fantastic when my readers tell me that they love my story so much or that they don't typically reader Marauders era or whatever. :D I love my characters, even if they aren't really mine...

Oh! And my computer is fixed! Well...not really, I'm using my mom's old one right now and my dad managed to get all the files off mine some how. So: whoo!

On a more serious note, I pretty much had all of the next chapter written before my computer crashed, so now I'm just going through and changing little things and editing. So I would expect to have the new chapter posted within the next week or so! Of course, that's all depending on the queue and everything, but still.

So I was thinking about your story a couple days ago, and I was wondering is it possible for Elaina to create her own happiness? I mean in order to fulfill her own hunger for emotions. Maybe I've forgotten something , but you know as you get older you tend to become unhappier especially in Elania's case. Anyway, I probably just sound silly but I really like your story. It's an interesting concept and I'm looking forward to the next chapter :).

Author's Response: First off, let me properly thank you for actually thinking about my story on your own time. It's immensely flattering and sort of making me feel like a real author :D

Now, this is an interesting concept and I'm glad that you brought it up (and now I'm going to include this point in a later chapter). I can see where you got the idea for this and it is very good. But because Elaina essentially IS the Dementor, she can't feed herself. Yes, she is capable of producing happy, positive emotions, but she is unable to feed off of them. This is all very difficult to explain (and I shall attempt to do it far more thoroughly when I write about it in the actual story). But, to answer your most basic question, while she is able to produce her own happiness, it cannot be used for the purpose of sustaining herself.

This is a really good story!
Your writing skills are good and there isn't many typos,
actually there is none that I myself as noticed:)

I did like the Starkid Pigfart mention there;)
I think you should do more of those, it'd help add a joking
demeanour in later chapters that require it:)

Amazing, as always! I think Ivan is great, and the way Sirius reacted to Elaina's rather bad flirting with her waiter was spot on. Bemused with a slight hint of annoyance. And I loved the 'A Very Potter Musical' reference by the way! Keep it up, I can't wait for the next chapter! 10

I like how you´ve portrayed Elaina and Sirius relationsip. I like how you´ve made them just friends. And the thing with having a dementor for a father...not sure if it works in JK´s world, but it seems truly horrible. Poor girl! Looking forward to the next chapter, hopefully a tad longer:)

Author's Response: Hm, yeah. From the start I didn't really know if the whole dementor as a father thing would work, but this is fanfiction and I don't believe that JKR ever specifically said how dementors reproduce.

Sirius and Elaina are my favorite. They've got such an awkward relationship, but it's always changing.

Hopefully a new, longer chapter soon :D
