I love this! It's entertaining and well-written and I so enjoyed Granny Evans and Sirius. I love the family dynamic of the Evans; it seems realistic. Very imaginative story, and I particularly like that it's written from the father's POV. Overall, great one-shot!

Hiya. I've read this before but I can't remember if I've reviewed before... Anywho -- I just popped by to say that I read Petunia & Vernon's backstory from Pottermore in a Facebook note but despite that I still like this fic. It was rather funny. Esp, the stuff with Sirius. Haha.

HAH yes! So glad you threw Sirius into this little get together. You know, when I read that Granny Evans and Sirius were both just laughing their heads off at all the fighting, I could just imagine them sitting in the corner drinking together and chatting, being all cool while everyone else was upset and spittin' mad at each other--weirdest mental image, right? But then again, Sirius does seem like the type who can get on well with anyone.
This entire one-shot just had me grinning the whole time I was reading it, but I think my favorite part was the interaction between Granny Evans and Sirius since it was just so...so...*hilarious.* Every character was well-written and I could easily imagine this actually happening. Just wonderful.

Honestly, I'm rather disappointed. But I have to remind myself that this is a one-shot and really, not much breadth or depth can be achieved, be it for plot or characters. However, I feel that more details could be added otherwise this one-shot is rather unsatisfying.

I enjoyed this story because it was short and sweet. I like the funny bits you included like sirius and granny evans and how petunia and lily got pregnant and married at the same time but its more of a make belief short story it's very funny entertaining and light though. But my favorites will always be the Delicate series, missing moments & duplicity for their more realistic type feel and you absolutely have to continue them but I really do enjoy your cute short stories like this one, you're a brilliant writer.
