Review #26, by Silver_Pheonix I Am

22nd May 2007:
I like your story, and it's undertones, of how we are what we are raised to become, that is one of the biggest failings of the wizards in Rowlings books, they fullfill their own profecies...

Thankyou for your reviews on my story.

Author's Response: I guess, JK has a point, we make our own decisions that make our own destinies. However, she doesn't really seem to show much of how our experiences influence the choices we make. In the end, our prophecies are filled by both what we choose and by what we experienced. At least, that's what I think.

Thanks for the review!

Now I see why Remus wanted to pity Greyback before. Poor guy. I feel sorry for Fenir, he never got to finish his education, or anything. Darn. Great story, but I never expected anything less from you cause you're a brilliant writer :P

Author's Response: Wow, thank you so much! I'm positivley glowing now thanks to you. And to be honest, I'm a firm believer in that people are originally good...it's just their decisions that make them bad...

Very good for a first fanfic. I loved it. Only it might attract more readers if you request a banner for it.

Author's Response: Thank You! I keep on saying that I'll register for the Dark Arts, but haven't gotten around to it. Plus i'm not entirely sure what to do from there (I'm technologically stupid) and the knowledgebase didn't really make sense, but I'll work on it...

Ooo, interesting. I like how you explore Greyback and his life. The whole 'up,up,up' and 'down, down, down' thing was done well, and I loved how you described him. You really have a knack for humanfying your characters. Anyways, this was wonderful. I really enjoyed reading it. :D

Author's Response: Thanks, that's what I'm aiming for, trying to get people to see the other side of the characters we often think of as only the 'villains'. There's more to them than just "evil, evil, evil", there had to be a start, somewhere.

WOW! I was not suspecting that. Poor boy, poor Draco (Draco I am presumming) or maybe not.
None the less, it was really good and well written.

Author's Response: Yay! A review! Actually, as I was writing this I had Remus in mind, but it really could be anyone, I never really specified. Thank you!!!

IF I WAS THAT KID'S MOTHER I'D TELL THEM NOT TO TALK TO STRANGERS! MY COUSIN IS FIVE AND HE KNOW'S HE'S NOT SUPPOSED TO TALK TO STRANGERS OR WEREWOLVES...

okay I'm done ranting. that story was excellent (especially for a first fic) great job! 9/10 :-)

Author's Response: Eep! yeah, you have a point there, but it was absolutely necessary...
I guess you won't have to worry about your kids getting bitten by werewolves...lol
Thanks!

For a first this is very good. Very very good. The bit about the home for werewolves could use a bit of touching up, it feels a bit choppy. But still, for a first fic, this is-well-amazing. Definitely on the level of someone who's been writing for a while. I love the "up up up" and the "down down down" and how innocent and trusting Remus is-so very well written. Great job.

Author's Response: Thank you so very much for reviewing. Yeah, looking back, I kind of want to rewrite it, but I'm not entirely sure how...I'll figure it out someday. I'm really glad that you caught that I was talking about Remus, I wasn't sure if people would get I was talking about him. Thank you, thank you for the review!
