I absolutely loved this story! It had so much emotion and the readers got to see many sides of Draco’s personality. The beginning of the story really grasped the readers attention and made them want to read on and discover what Draco had done. It was interesting to see Draco’s evil side but I also found myself feeling sorry for him because he was in such a horrible situation. I enjoyed reading how Draco felt guilty for the muggles because it made me realize that everyone regrets decisions that they make.

Something I noticed was that the ending seemed a little rushed. Draco was thinking about what he had done and if he made the right decisions but then he quickly decided to be faithful to the Dark Lord. I think it would have been interesting to understand more of Draco’s thoughtsand opinions on killing and torturing. Your writing was very descriptive and well thought out. Great Work-Hermione006

Author's Response: Thank you! I've been surprised at how well this story's been received, considering that it was a product of 3:00 AM ramblings. I'm glad that this piece has made people sympathetic to Draco; he's a character viewed through Harry's eyes alone in the book, and I wanted to make it very clear that while he isn't the type to suddenly profess undying love for a Gryffindor, he's not the pure evil that Lucius or Voldemort can be. Glad you thought I was able to do that!
