Review:Kristina1990 says:

Oh yes, it's definately going down, down, down.

One thing I don't miss about High School - the rumour mill. Really hated it and I can see why Seth is so beat down about it and prefers to spend her day locked away in her dormitory than mingle with others who think she is some kind of drug lord. On the other hand - it really could be worse in the long run. At least people are in awe of a great talent of hers. It's just envy that makes people talk anyway. Envy and stupidity.

No idea what Lukas is about, but for the moment he is acting as a nice distraction from all of the crap that Seth had to deal with. Of course, James might be onto something (he probably is) or he is just jealous that a random guy from his (reserve) Quidditch showed more courage than he did. I have no idea what's going on in his head right now, but coming out of nowhere and suddenly issuing an ultimatum isn't exactly the best way to cure all the drama.

Can't wait for the next chapter!

Author's Response: Ahhh, you got the Bruce Springsteen reference! I was listening to that song up and down while writing the chapter and I thought no one would really pay attention to the title, but you got it :) That makes me quite happy...

I know what you mean about school. Secondary school was the worst... I mean, I was never super popular or particularily interesting, so I got away most of the time, but I still had my share of ugly rumours travelling around school. I think you're right, Seth, at least, is awed and feared among her fellow students, but she's not the kind of person to enjoy this. And it might get her kicked out of school and accused of poisoning the Chosen One's son... so well... And I agree, envy is the root of rumours.

The thing with Lucas is that he might not be what James makes him out to be... or he is. Seth will find out eventually, but you're right, James could have definitely voiced his concerns differently... especially since he should know that Seth doesn't like to be told what she can and can't do :)

Thank you so much for reading and for leaving this review. I hope you know how much I appreciate your kind words and that you took the time. Reviews like yours make my day and they mean a lot to me... so thank you Kristina :)
