Hey Lizzie!

Back for one last Gryffie Review Battle Review! Go Team Red! Pretty epic night, eh?

Okay. I love this from top to bottom. This is definitely when Harry is at his best. He understands Teddy's struggles so well because he's been through the same thing and can relate. I like his advice to Teddy to just keep carrying on. I also like that he quickly dismissed Teddy's irrational fears that the Weasley's were just going to abandon him over an accident. They are his family and family means no one gets left behind. (whoops wrong fandom)

I thought you did a great job of capturing Teddy's anxiety about everything that happened. I could see why he'd be fearful of the Weasley's after Victoire got hurt protecting him. (even if it is irrational) And teenagers are so filled with angst that they start spinning out the worst case scenario automatically, so it really fit that he was so panicky.

I love that him and Victoire have such a close bond. I could definitely understand her trying to calm him down, but also her trying to protect him from being attacked. It's a very Weasley thing to do!

As usual, this was another great story and I'm happy because I get to go to bed full of the warm fuzzies from all of your happy stories (except Boarding The Train which gave me sad feels), but ending it on a happy note here, so that's good.

Anyway, you are an amazingly talented writer and I can't wait to see what you do next!

P.S. Hope this is somewhat coherent. It's like 3:30am for me right now, so my brain is a bit fuzzy.

Author's Response: Kaitlin!

Man, you are AMAZING! I'm so baffled that you left so many INCREDIBLE reviews for me in one night!!

Harry really is at his best here, isn't he? He's so kind and caring and I've always thought that his relationship with Teddy would be really special. Harry seems like the type to take his Godfatherly duties very seriously. :D

Of course the Weasleys wouldn't abandon Teddy! When I first wrote Teddy worrying about that, I was actually worried that it was a bit too much, so I'm glad that it came across well in the story.

HAHA! I think that quote applies to ALL fandoms, don't you? ;)

Well, since I totally ship Teddy/Victoire, I just HAD to make sure that they were close here. I always figured that she'd have Bill's "stand for what's right" ideals.

Well, I guess you're right, it is a pretty Weasley trait, isn't it?

Gah! Thank you so much for all of your wonderful reviews, Kaitlin! They never fail to make me smile!!
