Hi Lisa, this is my attempt of reviewing all the Claw entries there are so far so sorry for a speedy review!

Ahahahah I loved this story! It was just so great and funny and fab characterisation and just great! I loved McGonagall she was just so fab and I loved how she could still instil fear into Remus despite him being a teacher now. This line You neednt sit so stiffly, she added. Im not about to give you detention. Really made me laugh and how she tried to have a normal conversation with him but it just felt like he was back at school.

I liked the chat about Sirius and it was sweet for her to set things straight to as she was always like that and it was just lovely to see that she could be caring at times because Remus really does put himself down a lot of the time.

He was too stunned to respond, to think anything other than that Professor McGonagall was hugging him, and he wondered what James and Sirius would have said well, you were always her favourite, Moony and a wave of grief unlike anything hed felt in twelve years rushed over him. He hugged her back, succumbing at last to the tears that had threatened since his lesson with Harry. This was just fantastic on so many levels, I have no words other than it being great.

Wah, I just loved this one-shot, it was just fab in every way and such a great entry, Lisa!

Author's Response: First of all - you're reviewing all the Ravenclaw entries? You CHAMPION. I'm in awe. Go you.

Secondly - ahhh thank you so much! This was a very speedily written entry, but it's growing on me more and more until I'm now at the point where I look at it, slightly confused, going "Huh. I wrote this. I wrote this cool thing. Good on me."

I honestly have no idea what genre or even tone I was going for - it was basically just putting Remus and Minerva in a room and letting them talk for 1300 words, and I ended up with this. (If I seem a bit bewildered by the whole process, it's because I am -I had a whole list of possible friendships to use for this prompt and Remus and Minerva was not on that list until suddenly about twelve hours ago I thought "hey you know what'd be cool to see," and here we are)

I have typed out about three or four different responses of varying degrees of coherency regarding everything else (it's stupid o'clock here right now and I have an avalanche of feelings regarding these two that have only partially found an outlet in this story) The humour was almost accidental - it really was just putting them in a room and letting them talk, and both Remus and McGonagall have quite a dry sense of humour that found its way in - and, of course, the simple fact that McGonagall was, first and foremost, Remus's Head of House (who would have seen an awful lot of him during his seven years at Hogwarts, given that he was a Marauder) so the transition for him from thinking of her as his teacher to his colleague provides ample opportunity for accidental humour as well.

McGonagall is literally the most important character to me (and Remus is a close second) for that exact reason - she cares so deeply about her students, even if she hasn't technically taught them for fifteen years, and her looking out for Remus holds a special place in my heart so I'm glad you enjoyed that bit.

Once again, thank you so much for this review and I apologise for my rambly incoherent response! (Now I should head to bed before the sun comes up - whoops)
