Hello, it's me from the review swap!
This is a really good story, I love it, because the reality of everything is spot on. Sick kids always get "cranky". I'm chuckling, because it's such an informal word but it works quite well as Victoire is talking to Rose. I haven't really read any Victoire, so this was good for me.

A little extra description wouldn't go amiss, but otherwise it's great! The plot line flows well, and you have Hermione all sorted, knowledgeable about all these illnesses and lecturing Victoire on what to do. It sounds a lot like her old self. You've kept great canon with the series here.

Great story. Thanks for sharing!

Author's Response: Thanks so much for reviewing and especially for choosing a story with no reviews so far. Glad you liked it. I was actually debating whether to post it or not, since there's no real plot or anything; it was just one of these things that was playing on my mind and was going to annoy me until I wrote it.

I've actually gotten kind of fond of Victoire after this and a short scene she appeared in in my next gen. series. I never thought of her much before, but I reckon she'd be kind, having so many little cousins and all, she'd probably be used to being a confident for all the problems and little secrets they didn't want to bring to their parents.

You're probably right about the description. Really not my strong point.

And I'm glad Hermione came across as in character. I don't write the Trio much. I tend to focus on minor characters, OCs or near OCs. By the last, I mean people like Victoire or others that were only mention in the series or in interviews with J.K. Rowling, but who we never actually met.
