Review:Solana says:
Ok, I haven't chimed in for a while. I was ... you might say I was getting my thoughts together about how I feel now. I must say I'm loving everything that's happening, as a reader, that is. Just frustrated because I so need to know what's going to happen next -- the mark of a great story, that!

Ok, I'm going to be very much alone in expressing this, but as much as I now know how much he's needed, Matt has been getting on my nerves. I know you all love him, but I guess I'm saying he's annoying precisely because he's annoying the bejesus out of our protagonist.

Oh, I know, Scorp's being such a child about everything. He's annoying me, too. As an adult I can think, why doesn't he TALK to Rose? He has to! He's the one with whatever the problem was, and now all this about feeling like he's been betrayed by Rose because now, we find out he feels like everyone in his life has betrayed him. Oh Scorp!

I want to kick him and at the same time I want to give him a reassuring hug!

I was so afraid when Rose and Matt were in front of Raskolph. Oh no! I still think she was recognized ... and now that Thane and co. knows they are in town, they're in trouble for sure!

Now I hope before anything else happens, Rose and Scorpius have their talk.

Author's Response: Matt IS annoying Scorpius and he is, well, making a valiant run at Rose. It's a morally dubious action at best, and alongside his general hunger to prove himself, not always an appealing trait.

While Scorpius is being, yes, a stroppy teenager. He needs to have words but the problem is finding out what they ARE first. He's getting there. But I'm afraid the heist comes before the talk. Thanks for reviewing!
