Review:APerkins says:
Ok.. so this
was
awesome

I had to go back and read chapters 1 & 2 & 3 to remind myself of where I was up to, it has been MONTHS since I last reviewed. I think you have updated teh first couple of chapters since I was originally here, but it is so long ago that I cant even tell what is new and what is the same stuff I read.

Firstly.
I keep laughing out loud at the internal dialogue of Ellie. And with RAB being a smartmouth who is insvsible... well. its awesome!

I love that there are several unanswered questions opening up here... What is in the crack in the shelving? what was crazy predictive lady going on about?
where does annoyingly in your face albus fit into it all?

I like the reflection on the library. Its kinda cool, suits Ellies character to wax lyrical about the pursuit of books.

I am still struggling to reconcile shy/antisocial with smart mouth know it all. but when I am reading I kinda get caught up in the story and dont notice the mood swings till I go over it again to review it.
I dont suppose Ellie is secretly bipolar, or has multiple personalities does she?

Lol.. complex characters are fascinating.

Anyway, Ive said it a few times already, but you write really really well. I love reading this ! Write more!!

Author's Response: I'm glad you enjoyed it. This chapter had me almost in tears at some points, it was so frustrating to write. I'm happy that it's being so well-received, though! And yeah, I did go update the chapters a little since you reviewed, but the changes weren't too huge.

Regulus is the most fun character to write. Ever. He's a fantastic match to Ellie in terms of wit and sass, and that is just so much fun to play with.

I love writing all the foreshadowing! AND WHERE DOES ALBUS FIT INTO IT INDEED?

Ellie really only waxes lyrical about books and knowledge, and cake. Sometimes she spouts poetry about chocolate too, but often she's just busy stuffing her face with it.

I wouldn't say that Ellie is shy or even really anti-social - she's more of an introvert than an extrovert on the spectrum, that's for sure, but still waters run deep!

Thanks so much for this wonderful review! It was so lovely to hear from you again!
