Review:MargaretLane says:
*laughs at Ginny saying Harry makes it sound like they are at school*

*laughs* That really does sound like Ron, being proud of being on a chocolate frog card. *grins*

*laughs at the comment about Dumbledore level of madness* Dumbledore always reminds me of an Irish historical figure, Eamon de Valera, of whom it was once said "he is on the borderline between genius and insanity. I have met men of many nationalities and worked as the Governor in an asylum, but I have never met anybody quite like him." (Apparently said by a Lord Granard.) Dumbledore's comments to the Dursleys in Half Blood Prince and especially his attitude when the Ministry try to arrest him in Order of the Phoenix are pure de Valera. Burke strikes me as insane in a different way. I think he's crazier than Dumbledore actually. Though I guess he wouldn't be likely to make a speech like Dumbledore's at the start of Philosopher's Stone.

Yeah, that's true about the potion failing being different from side effects. I did wonder what Matt meant when he said the potion had nasty side effects. I assumed he meant something more than its just not working, but I kind of wondered why he didn't explain if there was more.

Well, I suppose what Amanda means is that if the paper was publishing all the details, he'd say something like "don't be ridiculous. Of course we wouldn't cover something like that up." Avoiding the question is suggestive. And yet, I kind of believe him that it's more complicated than their covering it up. I just don't know how or in what way. *ponders*

Glad you'll still be able to update over November. I'm really enjoying this story. Weekly updates are pretty awesome.

Author's Response: I love writing short scenes with the adults. I don't like focusing on them because they're hard to write, but the snippets are fun. JKR said in an interview that Ron thought that being on a Chocolate Frog card was his greatest achievement.

That definitely sounds like Dumbledore! Insane, but brilliant. And it only became more apparent as the books progressed. I loved that scene in HBP with him and the Dursleys. Burke is definitely different from Dumbledore. He's got his own agenda.

Keep that in mind, about the potion and its side effects. It'll come up again later in the story.

Amanda did mean that avoiding the question was suggestive. But it's more complicated than just covering something up.

I'm glad I'll still be able to update in November, too! I love updating quickly. Thanks for reading and reviewing! :)
